As I travel the world during business trips, I find that everyone has an opinion about the current situation in the Middle East. More often than I would like to admit, those opinions are not necessarily based on data or familiarity. It's also quite common for people to assume I hold certain beliefs, when in fact, as with everything in life, the reality is much more complex. In these times, it's more important than ever to keep our eyes on the ball and remember that the majority of people, no matter where they are from, desire a peaceful life and prosperity for themselves, their loved ones, and their community.
