Are you exhibiting at Infosecurity Europe this year? Have you started planning yet? Last year we helped a record 11 clients who were exhibiting at Infosec last year - this was a mixture of branded merchandise/giveaways, staff uniform, printed collateral (banners, business cards etc), t-shirt giveaways and custom brick kits. We delivered directly to the stand at ExCeL London so each client turned up onsite and all of their collateral was there ready to go. Why the post now? We know it's a busy industry and often things are left to the last minute, which again we can help with (we supplied branded polo shirts, tote bags and pens to a client just days before the event last year)... but planning ahead means you get many more options for giveaways, more control over the branding and peace of mind knowing that everything is sorted. Swag is swag? What do you think? I was happy as can be at Super Car Saturday https://lnkd.in/e5Xnv6dB at the outdoor parking lot of the Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida. Every shining color of performance car you could imagine: Lambos, Ferraris, Vettes, Maclarens, Bentleys.... Vendors were giving out swag, with some hits and misses. The car transport company had a long truck squeeze ball. I liked it, to the point, and it was fun as a truck shape. I plan on calling them to take my car back to New York. Barret Jackson gave out sophisticated lanyards with their logo---good for my keys and affiliation with the best---as well as a clear reminder to attend their first Florida Auction. I also took the cool sticker. An accident attorney had the biggest presence and a bag of swag to give out. The large graphics the lawyer had on the bag is one thing, but who wants a grocery bag to walk around while you are trying to be cool? A sling bag would have had everyone grabbing one and walking around with his name during the entire event and being used for a long time to come! The huge graphics of his name on the front of the x-large white tee shirt were just not for this crowd. I won’t even put it on. At least put the graphics on the back and tone it down so someone wants to wear it in public. Put a cool graphic to grab attention and your name smaller to draw people in. Who wants to be a walking billboard without being paid? The large paper fan on a stick with his super large logo. Possibly useful at an outdoor wedding in the baking sun, but again not cool at this event. A simple useful tool to go on a key chain with a small logo---would appreciatively stay on someone’s key chain for a year or two. The micro rag with his big logo, I will happily use to wipe down my Road King. It is a shame that all this money was spent needlessly and tone deaf to this event.
