Transporting an 8-Diameter Ring from Factory to Barge – A Heavy Lift Operation 🚚🔧⚓ Last week, we successfully completed a complex heavy-lift operation to transport a massive 8 diameter ring with a weight of 95 MT from the factory to a barge using a 10-axle semi-trailer and mobile crane. 🔹 Step 1: Preparing the Load   The ring, weighing several tons, was carefully secured at the factory using rigging equipment. Each aspect of the load was double-checked for stability and safety before it was moved. 🔹 Step 2: Transporting the Load   Using a 10-axle semi-trailer, we began the journey to the loading dock. The sheer size of the ring required exceptional coordination, including road clearance checks and safe routing to avoid any obstacles. 🔹 Step 3: Lifting with the Mobile Crane Once at the barge loading site, the mobile crane took over. With precision, the crane lifted the ring off the semi-trailer and carefully positioned it onto the waiting barge. The team worked seamlessly to ensure everything went smoothly and within safety regulations. 🔹 Step 4: Final Positioning on the Barge  Once on the barge, the ring was secured for transport.
