Scalability of geopolymer concrete is a major challenge today. Firstly, handling large quantities of hydroxide poses as an EHS threat. Secondly, conventional admixtures for workability and slump retention of cement concrete do not work with geopolymer concrete, so longer hauls are ruled out. Apart from higher thermal resistance, geopolymer concrete does not have additional performance benefits compared to well designed cement concrete. Precast elements, solid blocks and pavers seem to be the only target market.
This concrete is Alkali activated concrete it has limitations in slump retention and commercial production. Simultaneously If you are using sodium hydroxide as an activator which is a hostile material and can increase efflorescence. Keep doing the good work!
Awesome product ! Is it required curing at elevated temperature in the initial stage? Can GPC be suitable for making Concrete roads?
Many questions are still answered. I agree with Mr. Hardik Bhatia on his three points. Apart from this .... 1) What is the carbon footprint and embodied energy of this product? This alkaline solution must have this two factors. 2) What is the long term performance in terms of durability, dimensional stability and structural integrity?? 3) Health Hazzard and workmen safety in Operation are the major challenges

Compare to other concrete in geopolymer concrete we get more sticky and sudden drop quick setting

6moClarifying a few things here: 1) We already have scaled the Technology and manufacturing. We have been doing this for more than 2 years. Video is just an explanation of our technology. 2) For now, its only precast products & not structural products. 3) For all the technical details of the products, available on thw website. Of the material, thats our IP. 4) The material/products have all the physical performance reports. 5) Future applications are Road, Strucutral and all precast products.
