Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network (MPHN) has released its 2023/24 Annual Report, showcasing MPHN’s ongoing achievements in promoting health and wellbeing across its 508 communities. MPHN CEO Stewart Gordon said the report reflects the strengths of MPHN’s culture of collaboration, partnerships, advocacy, and innovation. ‘The innovation moments captured throughout the annual report demonstrate the power of finding locally-led solutions to local challenges,’ Mr Gordon said. ‘As someone who is country born and bred, I know country people have a can-do attitude and always look for innovative ways to address problems, often using existing resources. ‘Looking ahead, I am excited to see expansion and growth in our innovation, advocacy and research work, and the continuation of our collaborative partnerships to integrate our local health systems, improving efficiencies, delivering better value for money, and most importantly, healthier people and communities.’ Read more 👉 https://lnkd.in/gRvFAeiy Read the full report 👉 https://lnkd.in/gzrGfkPy

Peninsula Health and Alfred Health welcome the Victorian Government’s announcement that Bass Coast Health and Gippsland Southern Health Service will join the Bayside Local Health Service Network.   Our health services have a long history of supporting care in these local communities, and we look forward to continuing to build on these partnerships.   In December 2024, Peninsula Health, Alfred Health and Kooweerup Regional Health Service announced the decision to voluntarily merge and form Bayside Health (working title).   We will now work together with Bass Coast Health and Gippsland Southern Health Service to determine how we can best deliver care that meets the needs of these communities.

During a recent visit to Cone Health, the Patient Experience team proudly shared three strategic actions that take patient experience to the next level. With focuses on provider communications, community health, and leader rounding, this large health system is transforming the human experience through training and resources with positive results that will lead them into the future and beyond.
