The project's partners aim at equipping 25 participants of various disciplines from 5 European countries (Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Portugal and Romania) with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to 𝘦𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯, 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘭𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘥𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵. 𝐀𝐊𝐌𝐈 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐚 🌍📚 From May 8th to 10th, three educators from iekAKMIedu, Greece, participated in the esteemed #UniserTeacherWeek in Bologna. This event, which drew over 100 participants from across Europe, centered around internationalization and the design of Erasmus+ projects. The teachers engaged in a three-day intensive program focused on peer learning, inspiring collaboration, and project development. The Uniser Teacher Week was structured to encourage participants to #learn, #build, #cooperate, and #network with fellow educators. Through a combination of workshops, discussions, and networking opportunities, the teachers were able to: 🌟 Gain inspiration from colleagues and other practitioners in the field. 📝 Develop the framework for their upcoming Erasmus+ projects. 🤝Forge new partnerships and collaborations to enhance their project initiatives. The event's emphasis on peer learning fostered an environment where educators could exchange ideas, share best practices, and collectively work towards advancing international cooperation and project innovation within the realm of education. The participation of AKMI's teachers in the Uniser Teacher Week underscores the institution's commitment to promoting internationalization and fostering collaborations that enrich educational experiences for students and educators alike. These materials cover topics such as "What is culture" and "What are the domains of culture", along with engaging examples from various cultural aspects. To make the learning experience more captivating, a variety of videos and animations have been incorporated. These materials can be accessed on the CisU YouTube channel and the online Miles learning platform. 🎉 The project results are currently accessible on the CisU website in English. 🌍✨ Youth Exchange in Ponte de Lima, Portugal: Breaking the silence✨🌍 Last week, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in a youth exchange program in beautiful Ponte de Lima, Portugal, where we tackled one of the most pressing issues of our time: domestic violence and human rights. Over several days, we engaged in meaningful discussions about the different forms of abuse—physical, emotional, psychological, and financial—and how they impact individuals and communities. Through interactive workshops, we explored the importance of human rights as a foundation for addressing and preventing these issues. What made this experience unforgettable was the power of connection and teamwork. As a group of young people from diverse backgrounds, we worked together, building trust and understanding. Activities focused on leadership, empathy, and collective problem-solving, helping us develop practical skills to address such critical topics in our own communities. The exchange was not just about learning—it was about creating a safe space to share stories, listen to one another, and find solutions together. I leave this experience feeling empowered, inspired, and ready to take action. Thank you to the amazing organizers, facilitators, and participants for making this exchange so impactful. One benefit of ARCADIA being part of the #MGGnetwork is that we can complement international cooperation through the involvement of non-governmental actors, such as civil society, the private sector and the research community in order to address current global challenges. An example of the glocal policy of the common good facilitated by #IDOS is the sharing of lessons learned from various forms of research-practice collaboration in the field of development.
