I'm thrilled to share that our first research article has been published in the Australian Berry Journal (Edition 21, pages 65 -70) !🍓 The study, titled "Application of Foliar Nutrients after Trimming Strawberry Plants Accelerates Yield Recovery," was conducted in collaboration with VSICA Research and La Trobe University. Our research highlights the benefits of using chelated foliar nutrients, such as High K, to improve strawberry plant recovery, enhance yields, and reduce diseases after trimming. A special thank you to Dr. Scott Mattner for his continuous support, dedication, and guidance throughout the research process. I’m proud to be part of this industry-driven research and excited to contribute to sustainable practices in berry farming. #Agriculture #BerryFarming #StrawberryResearch #SustainableFarming #IndustryInnovation #PlantHealth #FirstPublication

SANGO-Kenya has used the trainer of trainers approach since the beginning -- groups of 10 farmers select a Lead Farmer who serves as the organizer, trainer, and support person for her group. This approach has allowed SANGO-Kenya to grow and still maintain the quality. Has your organization had experience using a similar model? www.SANGO-Kenya.org #traineroftrainers #sustainability #scaleability
SANGO-Kenya’s 50 Lead Farmers are key to our scaleability and sustainability. Each one meets weekly with each of the 10 farmers in her group, providing guidance and support. They work closely with both their groups and the SANGO-Kenya team, ensuring success.
