So why are you going to devcom? I received this question frequently from friends and colleagues. Most of the studios we know (and love 😍 ) focused on Gamescom this year. But after meeting Iryna Ivanova 🔜 devcom 🔜 gamescom at GDC earlier this year, I knew that devcom was an event I could not miss. And boy, did it deliver! Although we still have the closing party before Gamescom starts, here are some reasons why you should consider putting devcom on your list for next year. 1. The talks: the level of information shared by the speakers was inspirational and of high quality. 2. The people: I've met so many people, from game designers to tool makers to large enterprises to publishers and investors, and all in a very open and accessible way. 3. The Side events: These were really well organized. The team at Devcom really went above and beyond on this. It really helped put everyone in a networking mood, even the people who don't even like to do it. 4. The venue: The venue was in a beautiful, newly built hall, so it never felt cramped even though it was the largest version of Devcom ever. A big shoutout to the devcom team for a fabulous time! See you tomorrow at Gamescom! (and tonight at the party)
