Last week, our SynergistEIC programme welcomed Adela Stefan, CAO at SVELTE , an #EIC and #EIB funded startup, to share her invaluable insights and journey with our first cohort of selected startups. 🌟🚀 Adela Stefan´s mission is to support SVELTE on its way to the #globalmarket by running daily operations and implementing its #EuropeanCommission funded R&D project. SVELTE reduces the need of concrete in buildings by up to 40% and it was recently featured in PwC's Top50 technologies for #NetZero Emissions. 🌍💡 During the workshop, Adela presented an in-depth overview of Svelte, taking our cohort through their journey with the #EICAccelerator and presenting the opportunities unlocked through this network. In the 2024 La French Tech 120/NEXT40 edition, HEC Paris stands out as the top business school for producing promising startups. 🚀 This year, 21% of the startups featured in #FT120 were founded or co-founded by an HEC Alumni. Some of the current trends in the startup world summarized by Marius Istrate, Chairman of Board #TechAngels, highlighting for Economedia.ro a predominance in areas such as enterprise, health tech, e-commerce and consumer, regarding the type of startups met until now in pitches. He notes that the number of startups has increased significantly in recent years, with positive developments being observed in the market. It also presents some examples of promising startups with potential to grow and attract investment, including Creatopy, FLOWX.AI and Veridion. Gen AI has a positive impact on the startup market opening opportunities that have changed the field for the better. Founders are increasingly interested in actively integrating Gen AI into their products, and startups that have adopted this technology have been able to gain a significant competitive advantage. And... it’s out! Israeli #maritime-#tech startup chart. theDOCK annual infographic about the state of companies targeting the #ports, #maritime & #logistics sectors in #Israel. A couple of insights: - Number of #Israeli #startups, either born for or have a use case in the sector, keeps growing. When we first published the map in 2018, the number was 37 and increased to over 110 startups in H1 2024. - 2023-24 was the year for Israeli founders, who proved that resilience is much more than a word.
