We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as General Manager of the brand new Le Méridien luxury resort in Bwejuu, on the island of Zanzibar, Tanzania. If you thrive and excel in delivering exceptional guest experiences and possess a strong background in bespoke luxury hospitality management, then we want to hear more from you. About the property: The resort consists in 75 luxuriously appointed villas by the lagoon or on the cliff, colorful, manicured relaxing gardens, and amazing facilities, including two restaurants, a bar, a spa and two pools by a pristine lagoon. Key Requirements: - At least 8 years’ proven experience as a General Manager within luxury resorts, preferably island resorts, with a strong background in pre-opening projects. - Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills with a passion for team development. - Commercial drive and strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management. - A keen understanding of high-end clientele and ability to deliver personalised and memorable guest experiences. - Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of other European languages and Swahili is an advantage.
