This Veterans Day, Allen & Company and Allen3D salute our staff who are veterans of the United States armed forces. Their dedication to service, building mission-ready teams, and overcoming challenges have made them upstanding corporate civilians and outstanding members of our team, and we are so grateful! Allen3D Director of Reality Capture Walter Lappert (Air Force), Operations Manager Daniel Brice (Army), and Scheduling Coordinator Lee T. Sanders (Marine Corps and Army National Guard) discuss how their time in the service has translated to their engineering, 3D, and AEC work. In addition to those in our workforce, we salute all of our country’s heroes today and throughout the year! Curious about the value a military veteran brings to a team? It's not just a job, it's a commitment to professionalism. Veterans are shaped to listen, react, study, and ask the right questions. With clear direction, give them a couple of years, and there's nothing a seasoned military pro can't achieve. Listen to this clip from Steven Cote (US Navy Vet) from Sikorsky Aircraft as he explains what Veterans bring to the table. Consider the impact of veterans in your company—they're game-changers. #7Eagle #DoDSkillBridge #TransitioningMilitary #MilitaryTransition #MilitaryTalent

Our #Veterans Service Organizations are great at connecting veterans to their earned benefits...at no cost, by the way. That's just one piece of the pie, though. Our #Membership and #Programs troubles are complex, and this episode focuses on just one "value add" we can apply to our membership that could benefit both the veteran and the organization. On top of that, it can complete the pie! :) Mmmmmm...pie. 20 Sep 06:50: ‘NCOs without surveillance and attack drones, counter-drones, small unit EW, flying grenades, UGV-deployable mines and ammo delivery and casualty recovery, and flying thermite/wp dispensers are going to feel like US Grant’s troops fighting George Patton. All of these technologies are available, inexpensive (compared with other stuff we currently buy), easily adaptable and upgradable on the base platforms — and should ALREADY be in service with all of our infantry, armour, artillery, and recon units. Washington fiddles and runs along at the same old ponderous pace while the clock ticks. Time to kill red tape’: Me (TSz): ‘ … AND time to also ignore Putin lies and his so called ‘Red Lines’ … which Putin seems superbly to continue to control Biden … such that Biden continues to protect Russian territory at the expense of Ukraine’s? Am I missing something?’: Thank you H Perry 🇺🇸 … and J Scott 🇺🇸🇺🇦:
This is all true, but potentially irrelevant. You can have the best army to fight the previous war, but is it the best army for the next war? The quality of the people and their organization can be a huge competitive advantage. But if they are not trained in modern war and are not equipped to fight it, can they prevail? The drone war of today and tomorrow requires different equipment, different training, and different unit organization than today's US Army. The United States Marine Corps has started to adapt to the new reality. The US Navy and United States Air Force are lagging behind. The US spend more money on defense than the next seven nations combined, but is it spending it on the right things? In the right ways? The US has become the high-cost producer of almost everything, yet in war, low-cost mass production is critical. The recent RAND study is quite damning and, frankly, scary about how ill-prepared the US is to fight a real war. #ww3 Garrett M. Graff

The equipment can never fail! This is true if it's a simple tool or a complex weapon system.
"It is vital that military equipment work wherever in the world American Soldiers need it, and extreme cold is a weather condition troops have contended with frequently in American history." Not only do the extreme cold conditions bring unique requirements to the weapons systems but they also expose the gaps in the military’s ECWCS and CTAPS. While both of these systems are great for certain conditions, there are many improvements that need to be made to enhance the warfighters ability to sustain and survive in future conflicts in alpine and arctic environments.

Is there protocol and strategy for neck and back pain that is more efficient, effective, and standardized than others? Yes. In rehab, we have protocols that have shown to be best practice for healing surgeries based on tissue healing. Why is that not standard practice for neck and back pain? There are standard practices that strengthen a knee and a rotator cuff. There is little confusion about those interventions behind most effect and effective. We don’t stretch a sprained ankle because we respect which tissues are injured. Paradigm shift: Platinum Rule for the Body- treat the tissues how THEY want to be treated to see the most effective and efficient results. Spine pain doesn’t like being pulled, stretched, or twisted. It appreciates being strengthened in neutral. Let’s give the spine what it wants.
