Mauritz Coetzer, Marc Thompson And others, Yes, I spoke to many of you pilots with the hope of employment. It didn't happen that first time. I am working so hard to make this vision come true. Many of you flew the Bombardier Q - series of aircrafts. I am bringing ATR's . I am aware that many pilots have to receive type rated training to fly these aircrafts. This is an expense, a cost that JOLY AIRLINES is willing to undertake and to spend. Which other airline is prepared to do this for pilots. When JOLY goes into operation, we have to train cabin crew. The people who stand to make money out of JOLY AIRLINES training programs don't support me openly. A320 and A330 crew have to be trained. Our final goal is to fly the A380. Can you all see the crew numbers? Do you see how many pilots? The fact that all our airport services will be done "In House", Our MRO's be our own, Ground services will be our own, We will challenge SIMAERO with our own Simulators. Training will be a full scale program initiated with our partners. We have to establish accommodation for our flight crew all over the world. We have to establish partnerships with credible vendors. We have to create a supply chain component like never seen before on this continent and overseas. Airport agreements, ground services, handling equipment. All these things cost a fortune. Are you guys even thinking about all this things? C'mon guys, I fully understand the seriousness of my comments that I am making.. I understand the scope of what I am involved in. I have researched SA aviation and have come to only one conclusion...That SA needs a new fully inclusive and dynamic airline that challenges Aviation as we know it! Do you think i sucked "The New Benchmark of Aviation in Africa" out of my thumb? With giants like KQ and Ethiopia Airlines and even Rwanda Air... I understand the veracity and the impact of my statements are. We will employ over 3000 employees by the end of 2024. Can you dig that! When you underestimate my intelligence and willpower to achieve this, then it is a very sad day for us as a nation. I AM WILLING TO DO SOMETHING to change the status quo in aviation, but it all starts with visible support for JOLY AIRLINES.

Unresolved Refund Issue with Akasa Air – Seeking Immediate Resolution I am compelled to bring to light a deeply frustrating experience with Akasa Air regarding a refund for my cancelled ticket/flight QA1608, originally scheduled on 25 August 2024. Despite numerous attempts to reach out through emails and follow-ups, I have been met with complete silence from the airline's customer service team. This extended delay and lack of communication is utterly unacceptable and raises serious questions about the airline's commitment to customer service. As a loyal customer, I expected timely and transparent communication. Instead, I have been left in the dark, with no clarity on when or if my refund will be processed. This is not just an inconvenience; it is a clear disregard for consumer rights. I am now left with no choice but to consider escalating this issue to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and pursuing legal action if my refund is not processed immediately. I hope DGCA @DGCAIndia takes strict action against @airindia not just for this incident but to ensure they don’t repeat this in future. This is reality of @airindia My family suffered a similar fate in May’22 and I kept complaining to expose this airline’s safety norms, no remedial action taken or even acknowledgment from Air INDIA. Two years after the Tata Group’s takeover nothing has changed for this airline even with new aircraft’s , rebranding and fake claims to mend all their short comings in the new avatar. Please don’t let your loved ones (parents, kids or family) fly on Air INDIA , it’s not about broken seats or entertainment system not working or poor food quality. It’s about their safety standards and disregard to passenger handling and safety. No one cares about their Manish Malhotra designed uniforms and rebranded new planes unless they can guarantee that their passengers will be treated as humans and not left suffocating for hours inside their fancy aircrafts with no accountability for its outcome leading to severe medical conditions.
