Sometimes our goals feel unreachable. We doubt our abilities or struggle to figure out the next steps. What it often takes is someone who listens, inspires, and empowers us to move forward—someone who has already reached the goal and can share invaluable experience. I'm very grateful to have had the pleasure of co-organizing an empowering initiative like Virtual Speed Mentoring, where we had amazing keynote speakers to inspire us and mentors to share their expertise in various mentoring areas, e.g. leadership, Big Data & AI. What makes me especially happy is the great feedback we have received. If such initiatives can move someone's life in a positive direction, it is worth all the time and effort we put in. 🙏🏻 Thank you to everyone who was involved and helped create a fantastic atmosphere and energy in the Zoom room. 💖 My special shout-out to: ⭐Katarzyna (Kasia) Stoltmann: Your empowering leadership and trust in me are invaluable. I always cherish our time together. ⭐Aliya Boranbayeva: It's a pleasure collaborating with you—thank you for your outstanding work on the visuals and communication! #SpeedMentoring #Mentorship #Leadership #BigData #CareerDevelopment #Networking #ProfessionalGrowth #Inspiration #Empowerment #Community #PersonalDevelopment

#Sharron Cox- Thank you for your continued supporting essential discussions. Women's biotech leaders need the fair support of investors to bring innovation to unmet societal medical needs, including the need for precision medicine for heart failure. In recent years, US companies founded or co-founded by women have received a smaller share of total deals compared to previous years. However, those companies continue to grow their share of capital raised. https://lnkd.in/giZGy6Yg According to a report by the McKinsey Institute and the World Economic Forum, investing in women's health can boost the global economy by $1 trillion annually by 2040—a 1.7 percent increase in the average per capita GDP generated by women. While healthcare companies have received 25% of the overall funding market over the last few years, women's health represented 2% of the $41.2 billion in funding they received in 2023, explained Jennifer Radin, MPH, MBA, principal of Deloitte Consulting LLP, during Asembia's AXS24 Summit in Las Vegas. #invivosciences #Titan 100 CEO # Heart Failure #precision medicine #Technology #Innovation

Last Friday, the Batenborch International Belgium team had the privilege of hosting 20 ‘Leading Ladies’ for a Roundtable, facilitated by the extraordinary Marion Debruyne (she/her), Dean of Vlerick Business School. What an inspiring conversation 🙌! While we all agreed that gender should never define the quality or authenticity of leadership, with only 5% of CEO roles in Belgium held by women, the road to achieving a more balanced representation is long. We're optimistic that, with continued collaboration, we can make that change ✔️ . For young women with big ambitions, I highly recommend the book “Making Your Way”—it offers great perspective on each decision and step along the road to leadership (thanks for passing it on, Patrick De Greve 🧩). Connecting with peers, sharing experiences, and learning from each other’s highs and lows is invaluable 🎯 . It’s a reminder that no one should walk this journey alone—and having the right network can make all the difference 😊. It took a few bubbles to process the insights shared 🥂 - but we also had bubbles to celebrate the growth of our community 💫 ! Let’s keep pushing forward and use that edge to grow the sparkling community of female CEOs. Here's to adding flashy rays of colour 🌈🚀 ! #GrowthMindset #Leadership #Networking #Inspiration #YourWay #OurSupport #FemaleCEOs #MakingYourWay #Yasmine Vetters #Rutger Teurelincx #Dominique Dierckxsens

I'm honored to be part of the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine’s Women's Executive Forum, representing Veristat's values! This platform promotes collaboration, connectivity, and community among women leaders in the pharmaceutical and medtech sectors, fostering mentorship and empowering the next generation of trailblazers. It's crucial to support and uplift women in leadership roles as women hold just a fraction of executive positions in pharma and even fewer in medtech. Gender-diverse leadership leads to better decision-making, enhanced innovation, and improved financial performance, with companies 21% more likely to outperform competitors. Let's advocate for more representation, mentorship, and opportunities for women at the top. Together, we can drive innovation, boost financial performance, and create a more inclusive and successful industry. #WomenInLeadership #MentorshipMatters #DiversityInPharma #MedtechInnovation

Happy Tuesday Peeps! Now – This I Didn’t Know 🤩😘 Did you know that when women get serious about building healthy lives and profitable businesses, their focus shifts from "Networking" to being Networked? Where’s your mindset? Are you still attending business events and collecting business cards? Or are you ready to be networked—joining a peer community of high-level business leaders who offer strategic advice, resources, and collaborations?😉 According to the "Achieving Scale" report by the Advisory Board Centre, women who are actively networked—engaged with a community of mentors and peers—generate above $500K per annum, while those who simply network tend to generate less than $500K per year.
