The Tissue Issue project, a collaboration between the Global Shapers Community - Singapore Hub and The Signpost Project, brings together two youth-led organizations currently working to develop actionable recommendations to help tissue sellers transition to sustainable livelihoods. As part of this mission, the team recently conducted a workshop for Youth Corps Singapore’s Mission X Programme, a leadership camp connecting youths from various universities who share a passion for community service. 🎓🌏 This impactful session delved into the complex realities faced by elderly tissue sellers, shedding light on their challenges and resilience. Participants were empowered to tackle real-world issues, using the Theory of Change Framework to develop practical, actionable #solutions for poverty alleviation and #eldercare. 💼💡 By bridging insights with empathy, the Tissue Issue project hopes to inspire a future where dignity and sustainable change are accessible to all.
