They recently bumped my salary from $41K to $46K when I hinted at exploring new opportunities. That’s the starting pay for team leads! 💰 New Opportunity: I’ve been offered a contract-to-hire role in a large, well-known company at $24/hour (which would equate to about $50K annually). I’m told there’s a pretty good chance of becoming a full-time employee in 3 to 6 months. Company Culture: My current company has been reliable and supportive, but I haven’t seen the career advancement I was promised. Since Companies are avoiding hiring Positions like Help Desk Technician / Computer or Desktop Support Specialist. The Basic-level Positions of the Tech Industry is Now a thing of the past. If you see any job post for Help Desk Technician / Computer or Desktop Support Specialist, most likely it's just a Marketing Advertise Post to make the Company seem relevant.

Reading a job description for a Tier 1 Help Desk Specialist (Remote Full Time). It's been posted for 30+ days and it's listed at $14.52 for the minimum hourly and $33.00 for the maximum. It's a California company. Google says the minimum wage for California is $16. How can they post a job for less than minimum wage? If it's remote does it not have to be minimum wage?
