To enrich this analysis, our data provides an understanding of Munich and Berlin's tech scenes, and we compared both ecosystems based on our constant research. 🚀 Regarding Deep Tech Investments, Berlin raised a total of 1.58B in the last 4 years and Munich a notable $1.07. Based on our Startup Heatmap List, which tracks Europe ‘s best accelerator programs and their portfolios. Munich and Berlin both had 33 startups participate in top programs in 2023. In our latest report created in collaboration with the ZCCE Zurich Centre for Creative Economies, we analyze Swiss cantons. Here are some of the insights: - The distribution of startups across Switzerland is notably broad, with companies originating from 16 of the country’s 26 cantons. - Among the 277 Swiss Creative Tech startups analyzed, 113 (representing 40.8%) were domiciled in the Zurich canton, capturing 37.8% of the aggregate funding. This underscores Zurich’s pivotal role in the Swiss Creative Tech ecosystem, both in terms of startup activity and investment attraction. - The top five cantons, in terms of startup incorporations, collectively comprised 83.8% of the total number of startups and accounted for 90.6% of the total investment received.
