West Sussex County Council and Biffa have partnered to launch the Waste Prevention Community Grant Fund! 💡 This initiative offers grants of up to £5,000 to support community groups, charities, CICs, and social enterprises in delivering innovative projects to reduce household waste. Mike Thair, Director of Treatment at Biffa, said: "We want communities to think differently about waste—repair, reuse, recycle before throwing away. This fund is an exciting opportunity to support local initiatives and ingenuity to prevent and reduce waste across West Sussex." 📅 Applications open January 2025! Target areas include food, furniture, plastics, textiles, and electricals.
