As Earth Day approaches, it's time to reflect on our planet's beauty and our responsibility to protect it. We are doing our small part to positively impact the environment by pledging funds to Trees That Count a collective and inclusive mission to plant native trees across New Zealand. We’ve also setup a tree registry page on their website, with the aim of donating 2,000 trees (twice the number from 2023), in the lead up to IANZ’s annual conference this year, in August. Today, on the 22nd of April, we celebrate Earth Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness about our planet and taking action to protect it. At Bentley, we strive not only to be a successful business but also to have a positive impact on the world around us.   This year, we would like to highlight one of our initiatives that we are particularly proud of: our partnership with Trees for All. As a partner of Trees for All, we make an annual donation to contribute to tree planting efforts, an essential step in preserving our ecosystems and reducing our ecological footprint.   But it doesn't stop there. We also want to involve our customers in this important work. That's why we are introducing a new option during the ordering process: the opportunity to donate a tree. At the end of the year, all donated trees, along with our own contribution, will be added to our donation to Trees for All. Call of the Sea recently joined  1% for the Planet. 1% for the Planet is a global network with thousands of businesses and environmental organizations working together to support people and the planet. There are more than 5,200 business members, each of which pledges to donate 1% of their annual profits to organizations working to improve the environment. Currently, Call of the Sea is one of more than 7,000 environmental partners around the world. If your company has made the 1% pledge (and why wouldn’t it?), it can choose Call of the Sea as a recipient of some of its donations. Volunteer hours and in-kind donations count, as do financial gifts. Companies can donate to as many organizations as they like, so please ask your company to include Call of the Sea as one of the recipients in its 1% donations. The Impact of This Support   Contributions help: - Provide scholarships and transportation subsidies for underserved youth in the 9 counties of the Bay area.  - Maintain and operate educational vessels. - Develop innovative environmental education curricula. - Enhance outreach and community engagement efforts, including for our upcoming 40th anniversary celebration Gala40.
