🎤 How do you think we can achieve a sustainable future for the maritime industry? During the #WaterborneDays2023, we asked this to Pieter Huyskens, Damen, and Linden Coppell, MSC Cruises. Beyond working on new technologies and developing alternative fuels, they both mentioned the importance of scaling up our efforts. Going from one pilot project to a full ecosystem and replicating at the needed scale what we are already doing is one of the key actions to take to create a downward trend in our emissions profile. Check out their ideas and share yours! #EUPartnership

🌍 '𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄' 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲 It’s a promise that requires real collaboration—not just between construction companies and Royal Schiphol Group on individual projects, which we’re already accustomed to. This goes deeper, aiming to deliver the experience that Schiphol’s customers genuinely desire. Achieving this calls for a profound understanding of the needs of the customer’s customer, and insight into Schiphol’s broader ambitions and goals. During Nationale Klimaatweek, one question took centre stage: how can we work together to make the airport more sustainable? With that purpose, our CEO Ruud Joosten, Ton Hillen, and Gerald Paalman joined Schiphol’s CEO, Pieter van Oord, at the table by his invitation. Under the guidance of Margot Ribberink and surrounded by key stakeholders, they tackled the pressing sustainability challenges and discussed tangible steps forward. Steps our colleagues at BAM Infra Nederland, BAM Bouw en Techniek, and BAM Energie & Water take every day. #Sustainability #NationaleKlimaatweek

𝐍𝐨 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐨 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. In the maritime industry, one truth has consistently stood out: collaboration is the bedrock of successful green initiatives. The synergy created when shipyards, tech providers, and maritime consultants unite their diverse expertise leads to solutions that surpass what any single entity could achieve independently. We have witnessed this phenomenon firsthand across numerous projects. Time and again, the combined efforts of various stakeholders have sparked innovations and breakthroughs that seemed unattainable at the outset. These experiences have reinforced my belief in the power of collaborative problem-solving, especially when tackling the complex challenges of maritime sustainability. We curious about your collaborative experiences. Who are your go-to partners for driving innovation in this space? Let's start a conversation about how we might work together to push the boundaries of sustainable maritime practices. Together, we can chart a course towards a greener, more sustainable future for our seas. #SustainableShipping #GreenMaritimeSolutions #CollaborateForChange #EcoFriendlyShipping #MaritimeInnovation #GreenTechPartners #BlueEconomy #FutureOfShipping #CleanSeas #SustainableMaritime
