This is truly a major and meaningful development for Vietnam's nascent agritech industry. Vietnam’s Techcoop has raised a $70-million Series A funding round in a mix of equity and debt, in what could be the largest Series A investment in a Southeast Asian agritech startup to date. In March, DealStreetAsia first reported that the Ho Chi Minh City-based agritech startup secured over $5 million in equity and debt from local banks. The equity financing was co-led by AVV and TNB Aura through its TNBA Scout initiative for Vietnam. Ethos Ventures, South Korean impact investor MYSC, and Mandala Capital also participated in the fundraising. Read more at 👇 https://lnkd.in/giuUSpFd

😇 superangels x Gründerszene 💙 Our very own #superangel Florian Gottschaller just shared some insights about our one-of-a-kind fund strategy and why we are convinced that our approach will have tremendous impact on early stage angel investing. 🎯 Florian lines out how investors have the opportunity to benefit from our network and the expertise of our trusted superangels; minimizing the risks of individual angel tickets via our fund that invests in 120-150 early stage startups. He shared with #Gründerszene what our core strategy is all about, what makes business angels #supersuccessful, and also his personal lessons learned from early angel investments 💥 💙 We strongly believe that it all comes down to the fact that - in its very core - Venture Capital is not an asset class, it is an access class: Those who have access to the best deals will be the ones achieving best returns. And with #superangels we make the best deals accessible to a bigger audience! 🌟 Curious to learn more?
