Deep down, you don’t believe you deserve it. But You’re deserving of the whole world. You’re deserving of a life you like and a life that really fulfils you. Even deeper down, you know this. You also know that requires something from you. You’ll hear most people talk about what they’re waiting to have happen for them to finally live that life they crave. I’ll let you in on something — the only thing you need to have happen is you. You need to happen to you. That takes stepping into a whole new way of being and it’s your choice whether you do it or not. Just know it’s on you. So the next time you say you’ll do something and don’t get to it, ask yourself the Q I ask in this video. Danah DM me for 1:1 coaching.

Ever wondered how coaching can ignite your potential? I recently worked with a client who wanted to explore new possibilities for a project. Through powerful questions and active listening, we clarified their goals and tackled obstacles head-on. By providing a safe and confidential sounding board, I helped them gain clarity on their vision and the steps needed to achieve it. By the end of our session, they felt inspired and ready to move forward with renewed confidence. Coaching changes lives, and this is just one example. Curious how coaching can help you? 🌟 "I'm not good enough." 🌟 This is the thought that haunted me when I first started coaching. I was young and inexperienced at the time. "Who would listen to me?" These were my thoughts. It's easy to confuse self-doubt with inexperience. Then I realized, I had been through all of the training. I was certified. I had transformed my own life. I was just inexperienced. I see it all the time—talented coaches thinking they lack the skills to sell. But often, it's not about what you don't know—it's about believing in what you do know. 💪 Self-doubt whispers, "You're not ready." Experience shouts, "Just start!" Remember, every expert was once a beginner. 🏁 You're ready to learn more about selling, I have a video about The Top 5 Benefits that Make People Buy Your Coaching Program Visit my profile and click the link that says "5 Benefits that Sell Coaching" to watch.

Creating ‘Invisible strings’ to support you. While walking this weekend, I noticed a leaf suspended in midair, delicately held by a strand of a spider’s web. As it swayed gently in the breeze, I couldn’t help but think how that nearly invisible thread resembled the essence of coaching. Coaching is like that unseen thread guiding a single leaf in midair. Though the string is invisible, it steers the leaf along its path, preventing it from falling too soon. The coach, like the invisible string, remains subtle yet essential—shaping direction, offering support, and ensuring the journey moves forward, even when the destination seems distant and hidden among the trees. The leaf may not see the force that carries it, but it is led gently toward growth, floating in trust as it finds its way. Lets create those invisible strings together; book a discovery call.

I'm finding with potential clients, when their leading question is about price, that they're not typically very serious inquiries, or they're bargain shopping. I encourage anyone looking for coaching to ask yourself; if your health, confidence, appearance, or whatever your goals are, is only worth a small price, how committed are you truly to self-improvement? My guess is not very much. When you're truly ready for change, your leading questions will be about what a coach can do for you and what you'll get out of coaching.

What can we learn from Philosophy in Coaching? The philosopher Maurice Merleau-Ponty points out that when we touch a table, we feel that table and at the same time we also feel ourselves. We notice that it is our self that’s touching the table. Most of the time we’re not aware because our attention is with the table, or any other subject. This can happen in coaching too, when we’re exploring a table, instead of a person. Any circumstance automatically evokes an awareness of the self that is dealing with that circumstance. Any crisis we go through automatically evokes learning how the self is dealing with it. This will bring positive and negative aspects of the self to light. Things we like to see and things we don’t like to see within our selves. Coaching is about creating more awareness of the experience and the learning about the self that is touching upon a subject. Ask yourself, am I dealing with a table? Or with how I experience that table and what I learn about myself experiencing that table?

Yesterday was an interesting day… I started doing some quick intro calls, 20 minutes each.. Like speed coaching… All men. All looking for something. My findings after day 1? People want to be comfortable. They say they want change, they really don’t. The reason: They believe their story. The one they authored. The only problem is, that story does not match their goals- vision they currently have for themselves or their life. They are using an old story to live a new life and get new outcomes. Impossible. Until one breaks out of the box they build themselves- there is no change. Coaching sparks change. Coaching pushes one to think different and act differently. Coaching creates the much needed discomfort. If you want change and are ready, reach out. Private Message me. Let’s chat. COACH DANA CAVALEA

Do you self-sabotage? If you do, you are very far from being alone. We all have an inner critic - the judgy little voice that tells us we are not good enough. After a conversation about self sabotage, I signposted a friend to the quiz below and it prompted me to redo mine after about 14 months. On the left are my results from May 2023 and on the right are my results today. The power of coaching is that it invites you to reframe and change your perspective in sometimes radical ways. I think this illustrates the difference a year ofcoaching and being coached makes. It also absolutely proves that we CAN change. We can choose to think differently and show up differently in the world. I know I am still me - just a better version. I'm still a pleaser and a stickler (although less so than before) and I'm ok with that. The difference is, now I KNOW I am and am open to considering whether the approach I am taking, or the reaction I am having to someone else is really about me! Spoiler alert: it's almost always about me... Try it. Do your own results suprise you? If they do, then perhaps coaching can help. Message me if you want to try some coaching. https://lnkd.in/eYt5NiwU

I have been busy thinking about ‘stories’ to share in some upcoming work. I write stories because our brains engage better and people tend not to get distracted. This is what I love about my coaching. I hear so many fascinating, inspirational, humbling and amazing life stories. We all have a core story which makes us what we are. It is often a representation of us at our deepest and most authentic level. (conversely, it's often the job of the coach to get the client out of the story to do the meaningful work but hey, that's another story )! What's your story? How have you influenced your story? And what are in the next few chapters? These questions help you to connect to yourself and those around you.
