🔥 Spiritual warriors and revivalists, listen! Decades ago, Smith Wigglesworth prophesied about a coming Word and Spirit revival—a time when the power of the Spirit and the truth of the Word would flow together in perfect harmony. This is the hour to sharpen our swords and stand on the unshakable foundation of the Bible. Enter Swing the Sword, a dynamic teaching and Bible reading plan that equips you to study Scripture in ways that make it come alive. Hey there! Have you read your Bible today? Here are top 5 reasons why you should read your Bible today: 1. Guidance for Daily Living The Bible provides wisdom and principles to navigate life’s challenges and make sound decisions. Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." 2. Strengthens Your Faith Regular Bible reading builds a deeper trust in God and reinforces His promises. Romans 10:17 reminds us, "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." 3. Connects You with God Reading the Bible allows you to understand God’s character, hear His voice, and grow closer in your relationship with Him. 4. Provides Comfort and Encouragement During tough times, the Bible offers hope and assurance of God's unfailing love and presence. Passages like Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble," bring peace. 5. Equips You for Spiritual Growth The Bible equips you to live a Christ-like life, helping you discern truth, resist temptation, and grow spiritually. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." Good morning!!!!!!! Hebrews 4:12-13 The Bible is the most amazing book ever written. God used human beings to record His thoughts and words in writing so that others could know Him (2 Pet. 1:20-21). The One who spoke the universe into existence still speaks just as powerfully through the pages of the Bible that you hold in your hands. At the moment of salvation, believers receive the Holy Spirit, and lines of communication with the Lord are established. Then, whenever the Scriptures are read, children of God can hear His voice, and the Spirit enables them to understand and put into practice what they have heard. The Bible isn’t just a good book that’s filled with comforting words; Scripture is effective and always achieves God’s purpose (Isa. 55:10-11). Today’s passage describes it as “active and alive,” and 1 Thessalonians 2:13 tells us the Word of God is “at work in you who believe.” This book has the power to change our life if we will believe the Lord and do what He says. God uses the Bible to transform us from the inside out. Before reading Scripture, ask Him to help you hear and understand what He’s saying. As you believe and obey, your spiritual hearing will become more acute, and your time in the Word will become an intimate conversation with the Lord. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽😊😊😊😊🌹🗣️🗣️🗣️

Tips for Understanding the Bible 1. The Bible is About God Not Just Us The Idea of reading the Bible is not just so you can read it, but so you can fall in love with the Author. 2. Read the Bible Regularly Reading a Bible verse every once in a while is fine if you also take the time to read the Bible more in depth other times.Charles Spurgeon once said, "The Bible is meant to be bread for daily use, not cake for special occasions.” 3. Understand what you read Sometimes, the solution to this can be as simple as changing the translation of the Bible you choose to use. The best Bible translation to choose is the one you'll read. 4. Read With the Holy Spirit Before you begin reading, invite the Holy Spirit to open your understanding of the Word and to bring greater clarity of what He meant. 5. Use the Right Bible Techniques What you are reading is always determined by the Author and it has to be discovered by you. Tools like study Bibles and commentaries can help, but our main desire is that the Scripture interprets Scripture (Acts 17:11). 6. Get Rid of Spiritual Blockages If you feel spiritual resistance, I would encourage you to talk to a pastor or mentor who knows how to do deliverance and begin to resist spiritual attacks.

Week 34 Transformational Challenge Scripture Reading 1 John 4:1: “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” Reflection God knows that not everything that is said is worth listening to. People love to give their opinions while having no understanding of the situation. Now, it doesn’t mean not to listen but make sure that what is being said lines up with what God has said in His word. The Bible says that a wise man listens to advice (Proverbs 12:15). And in Proverbs 11:14 we’re told, “Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.” And so, we can and should listen to others. but we must be discerning about what we hear. To discern means we need to ask if what we’re hearing seems right, helpful and fully consistent with God’s word. If not, then toss it out, because 99 percent truth is still a lie. Prayer and Contemplation Consider what Bible is saying, meditate upon it, and listen to what God is saying to you. And then let the Holy Spirit help you to follow and walk in it.

There’s a choice offered here: trusting in the Lord or leaning on your own understanding! You can’t have it both ways! Society says, “Follow your heart,” but there are many warnings in the Scriptures about that! How can one “trust in the Lord?” You need to know His mind, His heart, and we learn that by reading His Word, the Bible! Are you trusting the Lord or following your own way? #trustinjesus #donotfollowyourheart #wisdomforlife #readgodsword #readthebible #therightpath #manualforliving
