Acknowledging the pivotal role of external creativity in societal advancement - Enactus CVS’s , #Research&Development team recently explored #BharatMandapam, delving into innovative startups and visionary investors. Our visit led us to reflect on key questions: What drives your passion for innovation? How do you envision entrepreneurship amidst rapid technological changes? The dedication of entrepreneurs, supported by experienced investors, fostered an atmosphere of entrepreneurial vigor and forward-thinking. Notably, majority of the startups showcased disruptive business models, reshaping industries with AI-driven platforms and decentralized finance solutions. There were several sustainable startups, offering a range of innovative solutions such as cardboard-based microscopes for research & education, bamboo-based bottles as alternatives to conventional plastic ones, sustainable sanitary pads and waste-to-energy conversion technologies. These startups exemplify a commitment to environmental stewardship, pioneering creative solutions to pressing sustainability issues. This experience reaffirmed our commitment to promoting social entrepreneurship for meaningful societal changes.Additionally, we met #AnubhavDubey, founder of #ChaiSuttaBaar, sparking new insights into entrepreneurship. At Enactus CVS, we are inspired by the potential of dynamic solutions to drive positive change. Our journey at Bharat Mandapam has strengthened our resolve to contribute meaningfully to this transformative landscape.

Incubators enable firms to grow technologically by providing them access to leading technologies and technical support. This paper undertakes an analysis of the way technological incubators can be utilized to enhance how Egyptian universities and research centres competitively drive entrepreneurship projects. The paper delves deeper into dimensions of cost reduction, improved quality, speed and flexibility in performance, creativity, and innovation. Nigerian entrepreneurs and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are being called upon to submit their applications for the Sterling Bank Green Innovation Challenge. This initiative is focused on providing financial support to businesses that are actively involved in creating innovative solutions within the agricultural sector, clean technology, or social enterprises that are committed to fostering sustainability and positive environmental impact. The challenge is specifically targeting those who are at the forefront of developing startups, SMEs, or various business models that prioritize innovation, ecological sustainability, and contributing to environmental betterment. For those ventures operating within the clean technology and social enterprise sectors, the Sterling Bank Green Innovation Challenge is offering grant funding of NGN2 million, which is equivalent to approximately US$1,200. This grant is intended to help these businesses scale their operations and increase their impact. Moreover, a substantial financial facility of NGN20 million, roughly US$12.2 million, is being made available for businesses that fall under the agriculture category. This larger sum of money is aimed at supporting agricultural enterprises that demonstrate a strong potential for innovation and sustainability, enabling them to expand their activities and contribute significantly to the green economy. "Do your homework, or you become an entrepreneur." Prof Pekka Koponen recalled how parents used to ensure children did their homework in the 80s and 90s. Funny today, but a reality back then. Students graduate from colleges to employment. Today, people graduate from employment to their personal establishment. The more ambitious ones jumped from colleges to startups. Over a week ago, I attended the famous #Wasa_Future_Festival at the #wasainnovationcenter, from ideals to challenges and to the opportunities, the first day presentations and discussions delved into the current state of startups and entrepreneurship programs in the region and what could be done more and better #growth_mindset, especially with the increasing diverse talents and potentials in the recent years within and around #Vaasa_region. With excitement and enthusiasm, Philipp Holtkamp and Nina Ingves made their plans public during the panel discussion; they introduced a very promising and exciting startup and entrepreneurship ecosystem platform (yet to start), supported by universities in Vaasa.
