I began unlocking my full potential with this 1-step: →"Reflection Sessions" across my work-health-and-life. I do this because I don't want to lose sight of: -Myself. -My dreams. -The bigger picture. -My optimal outcomes. It's easy to get caught up in life without ever reflecting. But as time went by, I felt stuck in the same state. And being stuck limited my ability to thrive. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗜 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱, 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱. In this weekly sessions, I reflect on: 1. My wins and losses. 2. What I learned and unlearned. 3. How and where I grew (or was stuck.) 4. How I want to progress forward in new ways. It doesn't take long, and helps me stay disciplined. It also helps me see gaps areas for learning. The bottom line is this: None of us have all the answers. We'll always be 'works-in-progress. I recently provided training to multiple size groups. I always request that they complete a survey at the end of every training session. The reviews were great. I don’t feel comfortable posting them myself, but I understand that reviews are key. How do I get them to put this in my social media reviews? Turning Raving Reviews into Public Praise!  When a client takes the time to complete a survey and leaves us an amazing review, we’re beyond grateful. It tells us we’re on the right path! But did you know that sharing your experience can help others find the support they need? Here’s how you can make an impact by spreading the word!  1️. Thanks for all the engagement over the last few months with the #acronymmonday posts. They were fun! I will be switching gears to a new series so stay tuned for that. 👀 I would like to leave this series with a few thoughts, though... -acronyms can be overwhelming for those new to the industry or new to their careers and for speakers of other languages -it's better to error on the side of caution and spend a few extra seconds spelling out what you mean -companies creating their own acronyms for things that already have industry-wide standards are creating more complexity than necessary...not only are your employees going to take longer to ramp up, but you are confusing your partners and customers -any time you are using acronyms in an enablement asset, make sure to define it at its first use in the document, script, slidedeck, etc. -do not be embarrassed to ask the meaning of an acronym...how many acronyms you know is not an assessment of your intelligence (and if anyone thinks it is and judges you for asking, they are ignorant)...if you don't know, just ask I'm not "anti-acronym" but as someone who joined the industry from education and walked into a company that had a lot of company-specific acronyms, I can tell you they can be overwhelming. By taking the time to dig deep and do the research, you’re not just finishing the task—you’re creating something impactful. Rushing through might seem efficient, but it can miss critical details and even lead to misleading conclusions. Quality always wins. There is no such thing as "I didn’t have time" ... Everyone who's ever worked with me knows this sentence - and probably hated it at first😄.
