Evaluate if you are seeing results. It is easy to take stock in items and actions that do not matter when training service technicians. Such as: 1. Free hats and gear 2. Binders of printed slide decks 3. Traveling to another location 4. Pretty marketing materials All those things are nice add-ons to training, but they do not necessarily help results. All you need to evaluate is "are service techs learning" If yes, keep doing more of what you are doing. If no, or they are not learning the correct information, then you need to change course and try something different. It doesn't have to always be a big change though, little things can make a difference when it comes to learning. Maybe its a one on one training session to really explain a concept a service tech is not getting? Or maybe you hold a competition between service techs for them to pick a topic of their choice and make a 5 minute presentation on it with a picture or two. Reward the best presentation with a gift card. Training doesn't have to be complicated. But focus on the results and adjust the process to get the results you want. #boilers #steam #training #burners #education

I like the idea of the Service Technicians choosing topics for revision and learning. It’s a good idea to refresh topics that are generated by the technicians themselves.
