UOB has rolled out the first US dollar denominated structured fund in #Thailand. The one-year principal-protected #structuredproduct tracks the Pimco GIS Income Fund. MENA’s payment solutions powerhouse PayTabs Egypt has partnered with Azimut, a Milan Stock Exchange-listed independent investment manager, to simplify online top-ups for investment accounts. Through this collaboration, Azimut customers can now use debit and prepaid cards to fund their trading accounts and investment funds via the Azimut platform, azinvest. Thyme bank seeks R2.5bn for New York Listing TymeBank, a South African digital bank backed by China’s Tencent Holdings, is raising $150 million (R2.7 billion) to build scale as it prepares for an IPO. 💰 Tyme Bank has a target to list New York by 2028, with a secondary listing on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange for the South African shareholders very likely. For this to happen, funding of $150m (about R2.7bn) is required and will go towards an expansion, including a move into Indonesia by the end of 2024. 🌴 Co-founder and CEO, Coenraad Jonker, said that the entity is currently valued at close to $1bn and busy with a series D capital raise at unicorn valuation.
