Given the digital connectivity, minimizing the travel should happen. Avoid. Local spots based sustainable tourism is to be encouraged. The oddity is, for environment related leadership meets, chartered flights are flown. Shows that we are not serious. Replacing HC guzzling engines is welcome.

At the #FarnboroughInternationalAirshow 2024, #Edinburgh-based airline Ecojet announced the procurement of 22 #ZA2000 hydrogen electric engines from ZeroAvia. This strategic investment underscores Ecojet's dedication to becoming a pioneer in #netzero emission air travel, propelling the industry toward a sustainable future. 🌱  "Ecojet is on a mission to make net-zero, emission-free air travel a reality," stated Dale Vince, Founder of #Ecojet. The #ZA2000 engines, intended for installation in regional turboprops with a capacity of 40-80 seats, are set to facilitate the shift to carbon-free operations.
