Brusche Process Technology’s Post

We are very proud of our colleague Tim van Schagen, who recently obtained his PhD on an innovative process for producing green methanol from carbon dioxide and hydrogen. Congratulations, Tim!   The concept Tim developed together with the consortium partners Brusche, Shell, ISPT - Institute for Sustainable Process Technology and the University of Twente, offers a relatively simple, reliable, flexible and efficient solution for converting (surplus) renewable energy into green platform chemicals and e-fuels. A breakthrough for the production of an easily transportable, storable and safe energy carrier. The pilot plant, with which Tim conducted his research in the University of Twente's high-pressure lab, was built by Brusche Process Technology. #innovation #sustainability #co2recycling #co2capture #ccu #ccus #renewables #efuels #methanol #emethanol #greenmethanol #energystorage #energycarrier #saf #hydrogen #scaleup #engineering #pilotplant #demoplant
