Elevating Hospitality Experiences: Connecting Events with Memorable Stays Hospitality, lodging services, and events are closely interconnected in the hotel industry. Businesses organize various events to provide their customers with memorable experiences. These events can enhance guests' holidays or business trips and strengthen the hotel's brand image. For example, a hotel may offer its guests a range of events such as welcome parties, themed dinners, live music shows, sports events, or art exhibitions. These events can encourage interaction among guests, fostering social bonds and creating unforgettable memories. Additionally, hotels and lodging establishments provide venue rental services for business meetings, conferences, weddings, engagement parties, and other special events. These events not only increase the hotel's revenue but also offer opportunities to expand the customer base and enhance brand awareness. Events can also be used as a strategic marketing tool in the hospitality industry. For instance, a hotel may sponsor local events such as a cooking competition or an art festival or organize its own events to reach target audiences. Such events can increase the hotel's engagement with the community and demonstrate its commitment to the local community. In conclusion, the hotel industry, hospitality, and lodging services sectors are closely intertwined with events, and when combined with the right strategies, they can enhance businesses' success by providing customers with memorable experiences. . . . #Hospitality #HotelIndustry #EventPlanning #EventManagement #HospitalityManagement #HotelEvents #MeetingPlanning #ConferencePlanning #EventProfs #HotelMarketing

Why should hotels invest more in the events sector? 🏨✨ Revenue diversification: Hotel events already represent a good part of annual revenue, offering an additional source of income. 💰📊 Constant Occupancy: Events take place all year round, not just during peak travel seasons. This ensures a more stable occupancy throughout the year. 🗓️👍 Attracting Diverse Audiences: Corporate events, weddings, conferences, and exhibitions bring in varied audiences, broadening the hotel's potential client base. 🤝🌐 Customer loyalty: Guests who attend events at a hotel can develop an emotional connection with the venue, increasing the likelihood of choosing the same hotel for future stays. 💼❤️ Customer Experience: The ability to plan and execute events with excellence can raise a hotel's reputation and customer satisfaction, resulting in positive reviews and recommendations. 🌟👌 Do you want exceptional event management in your hotel? Local events and festivals present golden opportunities to boost hotel occupancy and revenue! Here’s how to make the most of them: 1. Advance Planning: Align your marketing strategies with the dates of popular local events. Create a calendar to anticipate high-traffic periods. 2. Special Packages: Offer tailored packages for event attendees, such as discounted room rates, free breakfast, or shuttle services to the event. Make these offers irresistible! 3. Dynamic Pricing: Adjust your room rates based on demand forecasts. Higher demand during events can justify premium pricing while still filling rooms. 4. Engage Locally: Partner with event organizers and local businesses for cross-promotions. Feature the event in your marketing materials and on social media to attract more guests. 5. Unique Experiences: Curate unique experiences for guests, such as event-themed amenities or in-hotel activities that tie in with the festival’s theme. Stay ahead by capitalizing on the excitement and influx of visitors!

Events & Hospitality As we are approaching first apex (stay tuned f0r m0re) of our occupancy in Losinj Hotels & Villas, with Loop MICE, Loop Leisure and Loop CEE making it also absolute marketing apex of the decade on our island, my thoughts led me to think what do all these events mean for our industry, why do we spend so much time in creating events, making us stand out from the crowd on events, doing numerous lectures, panel discussion, destroy our livers with premier cru wines, fly long distances and drive our designers crazy with all tiny details of our movies and presentations ? And couple of my thought process conclusions: - Events are plexus and milestones of hospitality industry. These are imaginable and real places where we convene, and where hospitality lives & breaths, they present Real rooms, Real applications, and Incarnated ideas, something that we hold on our outlook or wall calendars... - Events are accelerators, they are microwaved electrons that speed up our KPI-s, they give us bulk of volume, boost of revenues, and of course prop our ADR-s. - Events are exchange of knowledge, learning opportunity, by default privilege of expanding one's mental universe. - They are opportunity for improvement, as through the whole cycle our weaknesses and our strengths are and exposed and can be polished enabling growth of our teams. - And at the end, they are pure essence of hospitality, occasion to make new friends, have great fun, get connected, and the best coaching and team building opportunity that costs nothing... So much from me in this Easter morning... Fellow hoteliers, event organizers, travel agents, entertainers, DOSMs, and all other travel pros, feel free to add your thoughts in comments... #dotheloop, #losinjhotelsandvillas

Have you ever had to ponder, “How do I choose the best venue for my event?” I recommend prioritizing the following: •Location Especially if you’re planning a wedding with a ceremony in a different location, your reception location is everything! Aim to keep the commute under 15min. For corporate events location can determine other activities that the group can enjoy. •Venue’s maximum capacities Educate yourself on what the capacity means for your venue. Does that number mean you can’t have a dance floor for a social event? Does that number refer to a theatre style set up, rather than classroom for a corporate event? Can you have a buffet with the maximum guest count? Will reaching that maximum number of guests limit and affect your overall event vision? •The availability of your preferred date This one is pretty easy but you’ll want to ensure the event space is available on your preferred date, and possibly a day before or after if a pre or post gathering is something you’re considering. •Your overall budget Don’t just think about the fact that your budget falls within the quote/estimate you receive, but ensure that taxes and service charges are accounted for. Additionally be sure to know what is included with the venue- tables, chairs, linen, parking, AV are often overlooked event needs. #EventPlanning #EventManagement #HospitalityIndustry #Hotels #Restaurants #Tourism #WomenInHospitality
