This is the face of a man who stayed up well past his bedtime to crack a mind-bending mathematical problem 🥳 Our co-founders found themselves once again locked in an Airbnb for 48 hours earlier this week... apparently that's where they do their best thinking 🤔🧘♂️ This was the final piece of the puzzle and one that is critical to the matching algorithm that will ensure candidates are paired with companies who have the right culture for their personality type, every time. And at 2am on Wednesday morning, the final piece fell into place (we imagine Nick is going to get this framed 😅) So now, it's all systems go. 1,000 candidates, 50 companies, our pilot scheme will open it's doors in the next two weeks... 🔍😁🍾 Register here: candidhospitality.co.uk

You're told every day: "That's impossible." "You can't do that." "It's never been done." I was told this every day too. Yet: When Airbnb asked my team to 10x our goals, ↳ We got closer than I thought possible. When helping build integrate.ai before AI was everywhere, ↳ We closed incredible contracts and built a stellar team. When starting an advisory practice with no marketing, ↳ Word-of-mouth built me a thriving business. When writing a book with no social media following, ↳ Here I am, nearing my first launch in September. The key to all these achievements? Shifting from a mindset of impossibility to feasibility. When you say "can't," you miss the opportunity to ask "how." The next time someone tells you "It's impossible," what they often mean is, “It’s hard.” So ask yourself just one question: "What would need to be true for this to happen?” And then go make it happen. P.S. Ever been told before what you're doing is impossible?

Worth the watch. I have experienced first-hand how ambitious objectives can hinder organic growth, which is far more sustainable. On the other hand, founders are forced to talk big numbers to get funding and sustain interest. It ain't easy. However, if Instagram reels at 1am taught me anything it is this 👇 Don't have to figure it all out at once. Focus on the next step. #foodforthought

A serious pain Trust and Safety teams tell us about: false positives ❌. There's lots of T&S vendors and models that will tell you that content may be violative, but they're *wrong* most of the time. That means your overworked moderator team is sifting through endless false positives while the real stuff risks falling through the cracks. We saw this pain at Stripe and Airbnb, so we built SafetyKit to be great at finding what's NOT violating. That means you can pull false positives out of the queue and not waste your team's time. We do this by applying customized, platform-specific policies with context and nuance. That means fewer false positives, less moderator burnout, and better decisions.

I've gone back and forth from the naive optimism of thinking I could make millions overnight to fearing that Airbnb's heyday is over. Here's how I harnessed technology to carve out a profitable middle ground for my real estate investments. There's a spectrum of two different types of investors. There's those that are naive that are just thinking, "Hey, you know what? My uncle invested in Airbnb and is crushing it and it's just easy and I can just go buy whatever I want and it'll just make a ton of money. Then there's those out there that are thinking, "Oh my gosh, Airbnb is dead." "What if someone doesn't rent my property? How am I going to make money?" But there's actually this middle ground where you can uncover really amazing opportunities. Back in November, I developed a technology, called STriq, to help with this problem because I had been on both spectrums before, and I've been trying to get to that middle ground. Basically I let the data and the technology tell me where to invest. I just literally got on the strIQ app and within seconds I was able to see a map on my phone that just narrowed out all the ones that weren't good. And it just showed me. It was a very easy, simple way to cut out the noise. And I was under contract in less than 24 hours and closed in 45 days. It's that easy.

🌟 Thrilled 🌟 🔮 Prediction: In the ever-evolving landscape of the gig economy, we can expect more transparency and accountability measures being implemented by platforms like Airbnb to protect both hosts and guests. 💡 General Commentary: 1. As the sharing economy continues to grow, it's crucial for platforms to ensure fair and ethical practices to maintain trust among users. 2. This shift towards increased oversight and regulation is a positive step towards creating a safer and more reliable environment for all participants. 3. By addressing issues such as arbitrary delisting and suspensions, platforms like Airbnb can foster a more sustainable and inclusive community for hosts and guests alike.

Such useful and important advice for start-ups. Do things that don’t scale at the beginning. If your first 100 users truly love what you’re doing they will bring your next 1,000. #DubaiAi #UAEAI

The clock is always ticking. But remember, it’s not about how fast you move—it’s about the consistency of your effort. Every call, email, or meeting adds up. Keep going, and watch the magic happen. When Brian Chesky started Airbnb, he was rejected by multiple investors, but he didn’t stop. Instead, he kept refining his pitch, talking to customers, and believing in his vision. Today, Airbnb is a global brand, proving that consistent effort always pays off. Persistence is the key to every closed deal. www.salesdrivetech.com #salesdrive #Oracle #sales #Incentive

📊 Problem Statement: New York City, a top global destination, boasts a vibrant Airbnb market catering to millions of travelers. My goal was to uncover trends and patterns by analyzing data from 2019 Airbnb listings. 🗂️ Data Files Used: - airbnb_price.csv: Detailed insights into listing prices and locations. - airbnb_room_type.xlsx: Information on room types and descriptions. - airbnb_last_review.tsv: Host details and the latest review dates. 🔍 Techniques Applied: - Seamlessly importing data from various file types. - Rigorous data cleaning and preprocessing. - In-depth data manipulation to reveal market trends. I'm excited to share the full analysis and insights in my project notebook: https://lnkd.in/dpGCn9YR This project was an incredible learning journey, helping me hone my data analysis skills and gain valuable insights into the Airbnb market. I can't wait to apply these skills to future projects! #DataScience #Airbnb #NewYorkCity #DataAnalysis #Python #ProjectCompletion #DataInsights
