𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲. Last week saw the DEA reclassify cannabis as a schedule 3 controlled substance on par with codeine and testosterone. However, the term "cannabis industry" may be holding back progress. At Phytome Life Sciences, we focus on developing licensed medicines that can be prescribed and reimbursed. We prefer clear sectors and business models. Here are the sectors we find useful: 1️⃣ Pharmaceutical: Prescription-only medicines approved by regulatory bodies like the FDA and EMA based on clinical trial data. 2️⃣ Medical: Unlicensed cannabinoid extracts used to treat medical conditions with a prescription from a healthcare provider. 3️⃣ Wellness: Consumer use of cannabinoids for well-being, with limited data to support claims, including supplements and skincare products. 4️⃣ Recreational: Consumer use of cannabis for intoxication, whether legally or through the black market. Our aim is to be part of the wider conversation, but spearhead our sector of botanical medicine. #PhytomeLifeSciences #biotech #Innovation

A real RegOps boss moment that I had in my professional career was spearheading the simultaneous submissions of Global Regulatory Marketing Applications for two very important products for a small company! This meant managing the submission of 8 large applications across 4 countries within weeks of each other. The key was strategizing documentation to use what we had to develop what we needed for the various regional requirements and label strategies. But even since then, I have learned so much more. We want to help your team boss up their Ops moves to get things done when timelines are tight! Ask SWOT about innovative strategies like working with your CMC strategist to repurpose your IMPD for the Module 3 eCTD with a little RegOps magic! #Regulatory #Operations #CMC #Global
Looking to gain efficiencies across US and ROW submissions? The Sugar Water Operations Team can help you convert your current IMPD into eCTD format.
