I've worked with 10 out of the top 25 best global brands from this year's Best Brands 2024, launched today by Interbrand. The report makes for some interesting reading to see the evolution of brand value (especially multi-category brands) leading the way compared to indices (MSCI, S&P). There's a big uplift in B2B brands, new entrants and a few re-entrants. ⚡ 📈 The Brand Valuation practice has evolved over 25 years - and in fact I've worked with 25 of these top 100 brands! 🌍 As someone who lives and breathes the advertising ecosystem, I've always had Interbrand report top of mind. Building brands that last, drive revenue, and create real market value is more challenging than ever, especially as customer expectations outpace even the fastest businesses! When Interbrand first published this report, only 7% of people had regular access to dial-up internet. Look at some of the top brands back then: 📱 Nokia (#5) was the top cell phone maker. 📸 Kodak (#24) wasn’t worried about digital cameras. 👕 GAP (#29) was the most valuable fashion brand. 🔍 Yahoo!
