CEPA Customized Educational Programs Abroad’s Post

The results are in! The winner of the first-annual CEPA Study Abroad Photo Contest is Alissa Katsaras from the University of Florida! Alissa's group explored themes of medicine, microbiology, and health throughout Europe last May with Dr. Monika Oli and Elizabeth Gadsby, Ph.D. Her photo, titled "Expanded Horizons," represents a moment of reflection as she connected what she had learned in a physics class to her study abroad experience. Way to go Alissa! 🙌 CEPA strives to design study abroad programs that build pathways between what students learn in the classroom to their on-the-ground experiences in Europe. Connect with us at cepa-abroad.org to learn more about our semester, summer, and faculty-led program options! Photo description: “I had just learned in Physics 2 the prior semester that the eye is capable of seeing to infinity unless interrupted by something. I didn’t really understand how that was true until I was able to see the horizon for the first time.” #IEW2024 #InternationalEducationWeek #Explore #CEPAStudyAbroad #CEPAPhotoContest #StudyAbroad #GlobalEducation #InternationalEducation #EducationAbroad #UFStudyAbroad
