CATL (Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Ltd.), a leading Chinese battery manufacturer, has established a significant partnership with Indonesia’s state-owned Indonesia Battery Corporation (IBC). This joint venture plans to invest $1.2 billion in a battery production facility located in Karawang, West Java. The factory aims to produce battery cells with a capacity of 15 GWh per year, targeting both domestic and international markets. Operations are expected to begin by 2027 . This initiative aligns with Indonesia’s strategy to leverage its vast nickel reserves, a critical material for battery production. The government aims to position the country as a major global player in the electric vehicle (EV) supply chain, targeting 140 GWh of EV battery production annually by 2030. This would account for a significant portion of global demand . Additionally, the collaboration reflects Indonesia’s broader efforts to attract foreign investment in the EV sector, including partnerships with companies like Hyundai and LG Energy Solutions, further strengthening its ecosystem for EV production .

🔗💻🔎 DDOI: https://lnkd.in/d8c-Zw8Q 🧑📖 Identifying the influence of land logistic driver cognitive energy impact on supply chain performance through agent-based simulation 👨⚖️ 🏫 ©️ Ishardita Pambudi Tama, Dewi Hardiningtyas, Adithya Sudiarno, Aisyah Larasati, Willy Satrio Nugroho (Universitas Brawijaya, Indonesia) Keywords: #cognitive #energy #expenditure (CEE), supply #chain #network (SCN), agent-based #simulation, #electroencephalography (EEG), #logistic #transport Abstract Logistic transports link demand generators, distributors, and producers in a supply chain network (SCN). The existence of logistic transports is critical to ensure whole nodes’ economic sustainability. This study explores the impact of human factors on SCN performance through cognitive energy expenditure (CEE) tracking. Agent-based model (ABM) simulation was used to analyze the impact of CEE from truck driver’s electroencephalography (EEG) data to obtain the postsynaptic potential values, which were then transformed to calorific energy. The fleet agents, retailers and distributor models were built based on the East Java, Indonesia, logistic transport route around Karanglo, Gempol, Bungurasih, and Gubeng. The frequency and the peak value of the EEG data, postsynaptic potential, and energy data indicate the same information. All data indicate that more challenging routes have higher frequency and higher peak values. The ABM simulation of the fleet agents shows balanced CEE throughout entire routes due to the precise rest period and eat scheduling. The average delivery success rate was 8 out of 30 or 26.7 % in each simulation time step. Hence, most goods delivery tasks can be completed by fleet agents in a balanced system. As a consequence, the SCN performance is also balanced due to the fluid inventory shift without overstock and stockouts. The rest and eat periods of a fleet agent were scheduled after the CEE has been peaked. The time lag between rest periods and transport operations has to be maintained to overcome fleet agents task buildup. Task buildup has a potential to decay both transport safety and inventory shift rates. Therefore, the upgrade in SCN performance is possible through proper fleet agents scheduling.

Eyang MLCC Application Scenario 📢 ✏ Eyang Spec: B1210X7S475K101NFQ ✏ Application: Base Station ✏ Background: Demand for MLCCs for base stations is growing, and each 5G base station uses four times as many MLCCs as 4G LTE, requiring about 20,000 units. Moreover, compared with 4G LTE, 5G communication base stations have an increased number of receiving antennas and parts, and their power consumption and heat generation will also increase, so they need to be able to withstand high temperatures, and they need high capacity to reduce the installation area of the components and provide a stable power supply. Because base stations are characterized by high operating voltages to reduce power loss, they require high-voltage products that are able to operate properly in the face of harsh environmental changes such as temperature and humidity. The main requirements of MLCCs for 5G base stations are as follows: -High capacitance value, can reduce the number of components, such as a MLCC featured 1210 4.7uF 100V can replace 2-3 low-capacity MLCC, is conducive to reducing the BOM cost, but also can quickly and stably to the high-performance semiconductor to provide energy. -High reliability, subject to external shock, vibration, temperature, humidity and other environmental changes and bending can also work properly, the base station requires MLCC to be used for more than five years. -High voltage to ensure high voltage stability. -High temperature resistance (90 ~ 100 ° C), adapt to the normal operation of outdoor high temperature environment.
