🌟 As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, let's reflect on this important statistic: half of mental illnesses emerge by age 14, yet, on average, individuals don’t receive treatment for 11 years after onset of symptoms. At CSF, we believe in breaking this cycle. Counseling plays a crucial role in addressing mental health challenges early on, setting the stage for healthier futures. Through CSF funding, our partner organizations offer services under 10 service areas, one of which is Individual, Group, and Family Counseling. Counseling plays a crucial role in addressing mental health challenges early on, setting the stage for healthier futures. These programs ensure that #JacksonCountyKids receive the care they need when they need it most. https://lnkd.in/gsVVkJht #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #CSFJacksonCounty #SupportingMentalHealth #CounselingServices

Day 7: Strengthening Through Support Systems - Isaiah 41:10 "Day 7 of Mental Health Awareness Month brings us a powerful reminder from Isaiah 41:10: 'So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.' In moments of fear and uncertainty, this verse encourages us to find strength not only in our faith but also in the support systems around us. Lean on your friends, family, and professionals who help keep you grounded and resilient. Whether it's a comforting conversation, prayer together, or professional counseling, these supports are vital for our mental health. They remind us that we are not alone in our struggles. This month, let's acknowledge and strengthen our support networks. Reach out to those who uplift you, and be that support for others as well. Together, with faith and community by our side, we can face any challenge. #MentalHealthAwareness #SupportSystems #LeanOnGod #MayMentalHealth"

This month is dedicated to raising awareness about the mental health challenges faced by men and encouraging open conversations about mental well-being. Key Facts: Stigma: Men are less likely to seek help for mental health issues due to societal expectations and stigma. Statistics: Approximately 1 in 10 men experience anxiety or depression, but less than half seek treatment. Support: Building a supportive environment where men feel comfortable discussing their feelings is crucial. How You Can Help: Listen: Sometimes, lending an ear can make a world of difference. Encourage: Urge the men in your life to seek professional help if needed. Educate: Spread awareness and educate others about the importance of mental health. Let’s leverage this month as a catalyst for change. Together, we can create a supportive community that prioritizes mental well-being for everyone. #MensMentalHealth #MentalHealthAwareness #SupportEachOther #BreakTheStigma

It's Mental health awareness week, as to me and many others mental health can be a challenging and we all can struggle some times or constantly fight to keep going. Just one conversation could start the step to recovery, take the time to check on friends, family and colleges. Take that 30 minutes to reflect and connect with people to understand peoples mental health and what we all can do to help and support people. "Healing doesn't mean the damage never existed. it means the damage no longer controls our life" #itsokaytotalk #MHFA #MentalhealthAwareness
