🌟 HCH team in Greece 🇬🇷 Last week, Heyd Más & Luca Polidori, were in Greece to discuss the next steps of the Biomodel4Region Horizon Europe project. Great progress has been made in developing regional roadmaps for the bioresources industry, taking into account local needs and opportunities. HCH also contributed to the discussions during Western Macedonia's workshop organized by CluBE (Kozani), aimed at local stakeholders. Insightful conversations as to current challenges faced by the private sector and clear next steps were identified to design a regional roadmap that will help overcome them. Next in the Biomodel4Regions is the workshop organized by HCH in Zeeland on June 26. This one-day workshop with the quadruple helix stakeholders of the bio-based economy in the Delta Region aims to establish a blueprint for the bioeconomy strategy in the Provincie Zeeland and the region. 🗓 There’s still time to register! Are you a key stakeholder in the bio-based industry and believe you could contribute to these strategic discussions? Please contact us at heyd.mas@hollandcircularhotspot.nl. What does the youth want on the European bioeconomy? Well... they want change and they want it now. 🙌 We know because we asked them. This Monday, DI Bio hosted the youth conference "Bioeconomy Changemakers Festival", where we asked them exactly that - how should the future European bioeconomy look like. DI was appointed by the European Commission as the sole actor in Denmark to organize the Danish youth’s recommendations for the upcoming Commission, which takes office in 2025. More than 100 representatives from all areas of Danish youth work came together to recommend, how the EU can create a strong bioeconomy. And that we did. 👏 So what now? DI is delivering the recommendations to the EU, ensuring that the Danish youth’s voice is heard on the future of Europe. A warm shoutout to the Steering Committee consisting of Matilde Bondo Dydensborg, Wilhelm Ditlev Christian Thomsen, and Søren Bank for your time, dedication and leadership on executing this conference. Let's keep the momentum going. Recommendations are enclosed below - in Danish and in English. #dkpol #dkgreen #dkbio #biosolutions
