Explore the story of Taskin Goec, a Mixed Reality Designer based in #Berlin who uses CLO in his entirely hybrid fashion design process.
In this video, he shares his workflow, demonstrating how he moves from experimentation to producing high-fidelity visuals. He also gives us a sneak peek into his innovative knitwear project with knitwear designer Luisa Lauber.
His digital-first approach allows him to enhance his creativity, adaptability, and efficiency. "I find that working with CLO is much more dynamic. It allows me to be experimental and quick and try out tons of different things up until the production level. Mein Name ist paschgen gsch, I'm a mixwalde Designer n. Going to show you how I use claw throughout an entirely hybrid process from experimentation to creating high fidelity visuals. I studied fashion design in Berlin and London. When I started studying, I already knew how close were made, so I could really focus on the question of what I want to do differently and also what if kind of specific for the time that I live in. And for me the answer was technology. And I decided to teach myself close, 3D and Blender and create those worlds that basically become a universe and that today I call the technological swamp. So when I work. I've started experimenting and Co. I create a pattern, which I then plot and I create a physical prototype. I test this, I fit this on a mannequin or on a person. I do some amendments, then I digitize those amendments. So I bring all of this back into close and then in the end, I have a digital and physical twin. I find that working with Chloe, if we're dynamic, that allows me to be experimental and quick and try out tons of different things. Up until the production level, because designing clothes for production can be quite costly. And with CLO, I make this process on what more streamlined. I work with different people from all across the industry. Right now I'm working on a project with knitwear designer Luisa Lauban and we are bringing together her technology, which is this insane knitting machine and my workflow, which is the digital first. Approach and we are developing a lot of new techniques that are truly mixed reality and that bring forth new structures and new network techniques that we are confident will change at least part of the industry. Something that I'm also interested in is helping clients to navigate through the landscape of technologies like close and to find their own and unique ways of working with it even if it's not to create digital. Assets eventually and if it's to make their processes more more creative and more efficient and I believe that this is how we slowly move into a mixed reality.
Love how Taskin Goec is using CLO to enhance creativity and streamline production. Exciting to see digital tools shaping the future of fashion design!✨👏

🌟 Unlocking Creativity through 3D Fashion Design 🌟
One of the things I love most about 3D fashion design is how it enhances creativity while addressing practical design challenges. Recently, I took on a creative prompt for a CLO3D challenge, where I decided to push my skills with a fun and intricate denim-based outfit—a heart-themed top paired with a mermaid-style skirt! 💙🧵
Why denim? Denim can be tricky to recreate digitally, especially with its unique washes and textures. I wanted to showcase my ability to craft realistic denim washes in 3D while adding an element of playfulness not usually associated with the finishes. The heart motif and the mermaid silhouette added both a design challenge and a fun twist to this project.
✨ How 3D Transforms the Creative Process ✨
🔄 Live Edits, Instant Refinements: With 3D, I can make live adjustments to my designs—whether it's tweaking proportions, experimenting with placement, or changing the styling—without needing to produce physical samples first.
🔍 Visualizing Before Production: 3D technology allows me to validate design placement, proportions, and styling before transitioning into garment production, ensuring fewer mistakes and a smoother workflow.
♻️ Sustainable Experimentation: I can experiment with new patterns and styles in 3D without wasting resources or materials, making the process more eco-friendly and efficient.
🎨 Informed Design Choices: Seeing color combinations and textures in real-time is a game-changer for making better design decisions. The flexibility of 3D design allows me to fully visualize the outcome before moving to the next phase.
🌍 Storytelling Through Design: Beyond professional applications, 3D allows me to create entire environments where my garments "live," telling the full story of my creative process. It’s not just about making clothes; it's about bringing the whole vision to life.
This post features a work-in-progress video of me building the outfit, and I'll be sharing a follow-up post later this week with the final creation. Stay tuned for the final reveal! 😊

One of the most interesting parts for me is adding the details of the silhouette and stitch lines to complete the look.
It’s like bringing the garment to life, one line at a time.
And yess, filling in the color gives that final touch of satisfaction – it’s when the design truly comes together.
It's these small, intricate steps that make the design process so fulfilling and exciting.
Each detail adds a layer of personality and precision to the final piece, ensuring everything is just right before moving on to the next stage.
Which part of your creative process do you find most satisfying?

🌟 Presenting my Master's Final Project in 3D Fashion Design @LaTecnocreativa "Father's Diaries" 🌟
Dear community,
It is an honor for me to share the result of my master's final project in 3D Fashion Design, titled "Father's Diaries." This collection is an intimate reflection of my personal and professional journey, encapsulating the emotions and transformations I have experienced at 22 years old.
At this point in my life, I have left behind the party nights and the frantic pace of youth to find peace in routine and stability. This change has allowed me to explore a deeper facet of myself, something I have captured in every piece of this collection. "Father's Diaries" is a manifestation of my search for identity and serenity, a testament to how tranquility and reflection can coexist with the freshness and vitality of youth.
My collection features everyday looks that are comfortable and practical, yet also incorporate fresh, youthful touches. These designs are for those who, like me, find beauty in simplicity and value in routine, without losing sight of the youthful spark that defines us.
Additionally, I want to highlight that this project was developed entirely in 3D. 3D fashion design is an exciting field that allows for greater experimentation and precision in garment creation. By using advanced technologies, I have been able to visualize, modify, and perfect every detail of my collection before it materializes physically. This approach not only optimizes the design process but is also more sustainable, reducing waste and resources used in creating prototypes.
I firmly believe in new technologies in fashion design, and 3D is a world that I personally love. The ability to innovate and explore new possibilities in design is one of the reasons I chose this path, and I am excited to continue learning and growing in this field.
This project not only represents my growth as a designer but also my personal journey towards authenticity and inner peace. I am grateful to everyone who has supported me along the way, and I hope that "Father's Diaries" inspires others to embrace their own duality with the same courage and gratitude that I strive for.
With love,
Brais Boan Esteve

The Art of Paying Attention: Why Detail Matters in Fashion Design
In fashion, every stitch, seam, and button plays a role. As designers, we know the power of details—those subtle touches that elevate a piece from good to unforgettable. 🌟
Why does attention to detail matter?
1. Creating Unique Identity – Every detail reflects the brand’s personality and the designer’s signature. From custom prints to unique trims, these choices set a design apart and build identity.
2. Crafting Quality and Fit – Details impact how garments feel and fit. Whether it’s a hidden seam, precise tailoring, or fabric selection, each element shows dedication to quality and comfort.
3. Enhancing User Experience – Think about the small things: pocket placements, adjustable elements, or even lining fabrics. These touches show customers that we’ve thought of them every step of the way.
4. Setting Trends – Trends often come down to innovative details—unexpected silhouettes, fabric textures, or bold accents. Those “little things” can define a collection and inspire others.
5. Building Trust – Customers notice! When they see attention to detail, they recognize the care invested, leading to trust and brand loyalty.
For us as designers, detail is more than an aesthetic choice—it’s a promise to our craft, our clients, and ourselves. 🧵✨

Your Fashion Designer Has Handed You Tech Packs for Your Designs. What Do You Do?
Receiving tech packs from your fashion designer is a crucial step in bringing your designs to life. These detailed documents are the blueprint for sampling, so taking the time to thoroughly review them is essential.
Tech packs contain a wealth of information, and it can be overwhelming at first glance. However, if you have strong opinions about your design, it's vital to go through them carefully. During the design stage, the focus is on the general aesthetic and overall look of the garment. Once the style and design direction are locked down, the designer can then delve into the construction details. These finer details, such as stitching types and the size of graphics and logos, are often finalised at the tech pack stage.
When you receive the tech packs, make sure to review these details thoroughly. For logos and artwork sizing, a great tip is to print them out in actual size. If you can't do this yourself, ask the designer to send them to you in the correct size. You can then cut them out and hold them up to a garment to check the scale.
Pay attention to the stitching as well. Is it a single row of stitching, a double stitch, or something more intricate? If you don't understand something, ask questions. What you see on the tech pack is what you'll get in the final product. If you love the stitching on a hoodie but it looks different on the tech pack, raise your concerns.
Remember, these fine details are important but subjective. Your preferences might differ from your designer's. If you're flexible, you can wait for the first samples and then make comments and changes. This is a normal part of the process. Just don't be surprised if the samples reflect the tech packs exactly and differ from your vision.
