🎉 Excited to share the highlights of my latest research on Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and Time Slotted Channel Hopping (TSCH) ! 📡💡 🔗 Paper 1: "Forte: A Hybrid Scheduler for Dynamic and Mobile Industrial IoT Networks" (accepted at IEEE LCN Conference 2024) In this work, we address the challenges faced by Industrial IoT systems, especially with node mobility and dynamic traffic. We propose Forte, a hybrid scheduler that combines autonomous and centralized scheduling to adaptively allocate resources. The result? Reduced end-to-end delay and increased packet delivery ratios with minimal duty-cycle overhead, outperforming existing solutions. 🚀 🔗 Paper 2: "Stochastic Network Calculus for TSCH Performance Analysis" (IEEE ISCC 2024) TSCH is crucial for the reliability of low-power IoT networks, but deterministic models have their limitations. Our research introduces a Stochastic Network Calculus (SNC) model to predict end-to-end delays and violation probabilities for different TSCH schedulers. This probabilistic approach offers more realistic insights, closely aligning with simulation results. 📈 🔗Paper 3: "Integrating Time-Sensitive Networking with Low-Power IoT for Industrial Applications" (ACM SenSys 2023) In this study, we explore the fusion of Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) with low-power 6TiSCH IoT networks. Our work examines various implementation strategies and their effects on delay and resource consumption, highlighting the research challenges and necessary enhancements for seamless interoperability between time-sensitive wired networks and constrained, battery-driven wireless communications. ⚙️ I am thrilled about these contributions and eager to see how they push forward the state-of-the-art in IoT network performance!
