Colan Australia, the country’s #sovereign manufacturer of #engineered industrial textiles, recently celebrated its 70th anniversary at its Huntingwood headquarters. The celebration united the composites industry with family, friends and long-standing employees, creating a memorable gathering of shared achievements. Founded in 1954 by Geoffrey Coghlan, Colan opened new frontiers in #Australianmanufacturing, serving industries like #defence, #aerospace, #marine, #transport, #infrastructure, and #sports. Despite economic cycles and policy challenges, Colan Australia continues to thrive in #technology-driven industrial markets. “My father was a pioneer in Australia’s industrial textile industry, and his vision for technology-driven manufacturing has always guided us,” said Genelle Coghlan, Managing Director of Colan. “Today, we push boundaries with new fibres and fabric constructions across diverse industries.” Ms Coghlan also highlighted the loyalty of customers and staff, crediting it to collective trust and collaboration.
