Day 2: Spotlight on Apprentices   On day 2 of National Apprenticeship Week, we spotlight the vital role of apprenticeships in commercial construction. These programs are crucial for providing hands-on experience, fostering mentorship, and driving innovation in the industry. As one of our experienced forepersons, Kyle, can attest, our apprenticeship program equips the next generation of construction leaders with practical skills and industry knowledge, setting them up for successful careers in commercial construction. "My journey with CK began five years ago. Through their four-year program, I progressed from a construction novice to my current role as a Footer and Wall Foreperson. The program equipped me with a wide range of skills, from basic tool handling to advanced surveying.Now, I'm managing my first project and mentoring an apprentice. It's rewarding to see my growth and pass on knowledge to the next generation.CK's program offers diverse experiences in construction. My advice: Embrace learning, set clear goals, and take advantage of CK's comprehensive approach.
