Announcement: Mind Over Miles: 24-Hour Challenge🏃♂️ I am thrilled to announce an upcoming event dedicated to raising awareness for mental health and suicide prevention! On April 13th and 14th, Myself and some close friends will be embarking on a monumental journey: running for 24 hours straight to support those in need. This incredible endeavor is more than just a run; it's a mission to ignite conversations, break stigmas, and offer hope to those battling with mental health challenges. Through this event, I aim to shed light on the importance of mental wellness and the need for accessible support systems. All proceeds from this fundraiser will be directed to two esteemed charities in Buffalo, devoted to suicide prevention and mental health initiatives. Together, we can make a difference in our community and beyond. How You Can Help: • Donate: Every contribution, no matter the size, counts towards our collective impact. Please consider donating through the link below. • Spread the Word: Share this post and encourage others to join us in our mission. Together, we can amplify our message and reach even more people. • Stay Tuned: Keep an eye out for updates and details about the event as we draw closer to April 13th. Let's lace up our shoes, raise our voices, and run towards a future where mental health is treated with the care and attention it deserves. Together, we can make a difference. 🌟 #RunForMentalHealth #EndTheStigma #SuicidePrevention #MentalHealthAwareness https://gofund.me/af6fbe37

As our 1 in 5 Campaign comes to a close on World Mental Health Day, we’re reminded of the powerful stories that have been shared—stories of resilience and hope. The truth is, mental illness affects us all. It’s a mother, a brother, a friend. It’s 1 in 5 Canadians, each living a story that deserves our attention, our understanding, and our support. But raising awareness is only the first step. To create real change, we need to act. Your donation today can directly impact the lives of those who are struggling in silence. It can help fund crucial mental health services, provide access to therapy, and give someone the hope they need to keep going. If 1 in 5 Albertans gave to this campaign, imagine the lives that could be changed. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. Support this fight for mental wellness. Donate now to the Mental Health Foundation’s 1 in 5 Campaign via the link in our bio and stand with those who need us most. Together, we can create a healthier, more compassionate Alberta. We have a better future in mind, and we hope you do too. #OneInFive_AB #MentalHealthMatters #SupportMentalHealth #DonateNow

PUSH-UP CHALLENGE // Yup, we're doing it!! Well... actually... Lee Stevens is doing it. He's jumped in with Adam Cheyne MPIA and the Urbankind team because Annie and Nicholas have no upper body strength. Nadda. Zilch. And anyway, Annie has to take the photos and video, and Nick has to count the reps to keep Lee honest. 😉 Sooooo, it would be great to get people on board and support our fundraising efforts. Here's the link to make a donation > https://lnkd.in/gKwvGZ94 Why? Mental Health is something Nick and Lee are really passionate about... particularly men's mental health and navigating fatherhood with life. It's something we should talk about more. So much more. And The Push-Up Challenge is Australia's largest mental health and fitness event that supports charities to deliver crisis support initiatives, programs and services that help in the prevention and early intervention of depression, anxiety and suicide. We can't think of any better reason to give this a go, starting today. Please make a pledge, and we'll keep you up-to-date on our progress over the next 24 days. #pushforbetter #vividrecruitment #clearandsimple #mentalhealth

May is mental health awareness month people. This year my family will ride 50KM together and pay tribute to the way too many people in our lives we’ve lost to suicide. Consider joining my team and riding, or donate. Your donation is vital so Jack.org can continue its critical work of helping youth understand their mental health and seek help without shame. Team Westcoast: To Join: https://lnkd.in/eGS2G-QV To Donate: https://lnkd.in/e3isbVG5 Here’s what else you can do: 1. Complete the (free) Be There Certificate and learn how to be there for others. Destigmatizing mental health is a matter of life and death. https://lnkd.in/ek5idjMN 2. Spread the word about Be There, friends, family, co-workers, shout it from the rooftops. 3. Stop thinking it couldn’t happen to anyone in your circle…it can. Learn to get comfortable discussing matters of mental health. Take care of yourself. Wishing you all good mental health. #MayMentalHealthAwarenessMonth #MentalHealth #Suicide
