Tuskira isn’t just a name; it’s a signal—a mesh woven tight enough to block out threats and nimble enough to adapt when the game changes. With $28.5M now fueling their mission, this San Francisco powerhouse is leaning all the way into their AI-powered platform to do what others haven’t even imagined: unify 150+ security tools into a seamless, predictive force field. The results? Real-time insights, automated assessments, and a level of foresight that turns reacting into a thing of the past. This isn’t the future of cybersecurity; it’s the present finally catching up. At the helm, CEO Piyush Sharrma brings a track record that speaks louder than any tagline. He built Accurics, sold it to Tenable for $160M, and now he’s doubling down on a vision that doesn’t stop at “good enough.” Sharma’s crew is stacked: om moolchandani, who balances the technical and strategic as CISO & CPO, and Vipul Parmar, whose technical chops as CTO are making the impossible look easy. Together, they’re not just building software—they’re crafting a new standard, one line of code and one patented innovation at a time. The $28.5M injection, led by Intel Capital and SYN Ventures with backing from Sorenson Capital, Rain Capital, and Wipro Ventures, isn’t just capital; it’s a green light for Tuskira to keep pushing. Investors like Intel’s Sunil Kurkure aren’t shy about the potential: “This solution has the potential to redefine proactive security.” The message is clear—while the world scrambles to patch, Tuskira is already outthinking the next wave of attacks. And don’t think this is just about the tech. It’s the mission that hits hardest: preventing breaches that cost organizations upwards of $4.45M per hit. AI-augmented attacks are evolving, and Tuskira is moving faster. #Startups #StartupFunding #Security #SecurityTools #ThreatManagement #TechEcosystem #StartupEcosystem #Cybersecurity #VentureCapital #SecurityTools #AIAttacks #AIAttackPrevention

Thrilled to announce my partnership with CyWreck , a visionary venture led by my childhood friend,Nikhil Nair. Investing in Cywreck is more than a business decision; it's a belief in a safer digital future. Nikhil's innovative approach to cybersecurity, focusing on quality, detailed analysis, and custom solutions, positions Cywreck as a beacon in the tech world. His foresight in addressing evolving digital threats ensures that Cywreck isn't just a company for today but a necessity for tomorrow. Here's to building a secure digital legacy together! In the realm of startup investments, it is my firm belief that the true value lies in investing in the individuals behind the ventures rather than the ideas themselves. This philosophy embraces a vision where the strength, passion, and resilience of founders and their teams become the cornerstone of success, heralding a future where people, above all, are the most significant assets in the entrepreneurial landscape. #CyberSecurity #Innovation

I’ve been thinking about the recent disparity between the level of #cybersecurity startup funding in the USA and Europe. While you could argue that this reflects the market dynamics of #startups in these regions, the systemic and cultural issues are at play here. We all know that the USA is the hub for VC activity, and it’s helped out security startups, like Sequoia Capital’s heavy investment in Eye Security. We’ve also got to think about the cautionary outlook on VC funding from a European perspective and the stringent regulations across the EU. Let’s hope cross-border initiatives such as the Digital Europe Programme can bring an end to this difference. #startuplife
