The Nexus S136 single cartridge seal is our "Me-Too" slurry seal. Most mechanical seal suppliers need a single cartridge seal that is not just a standard cartridge seal design for process pumps. This type of seal has some features that allows for use in slurry pumps. This design has heavy duty profiled faces to reduce the slurry build-up on the OD of the faces. It has large clearances between stationary and rotary parts, to prevent hang-up due to slurry on atmospheric side. It is a stationary design seal with Monolithic faces (not the stupid inserted faces that some manufacturers still use - the world has moved on from inserted faces). The sleeve is made with nice thick material, it is a slurry seal after all. The advantage is that these variants can be easily retrofitted to many standard agitator seals. All three variants can be used with most cartridge-type mechanical seals, whether dry running, liquid-lubricated mechanical seals or gas-lubricated seals.

Plastic shell thermal protector - design principles The structure design of the plastic shell thermal protector is simple, with sufficient sealing performance, suitable for immersion painting process, and the reinforced shell product can also be tied to the winding. The spring arm transfers current from the lead wire to the terminal embedded in the lower cushion block through the moving and stationary contact points. The spring arm, bimetallic sheet, and bottom plate are riveted together through insulation blocks, and then the assembly is inserted into the shell and sealed with epoxy resin. Due to the fact that the disconnection time of the power supply depends on the working temperature of the plastic shell thermal protector protector, the temperature level should be selected correctly.
