The number 1 predictor of how long you will live might surprise you… It’s whether you can stand up without using your hands. Besides being an indicator of things like strength and mobility, as a skill, being able to do this means that you can stand up if you fall over and break your wrists. The bones in your wrists are the most commonly broken bones in the body, because they are thin and we naturally put our hands out when we fall. With falls being such a major problem for the elderly, being able to get up without them means you can get help sooner. If you have the strength to stand up without using your hands, you’re probably less likely to fall in the first place too. So get practicing now, and keep this skill going your whole life. If you want to learn more ways to bulletproof your body so that you can stay fit long into old age, DM me “Not Old” now. #healthyaging #healthyagingtips #aging #aginggracefully #agingbackwards #agingchallenge #agingparents #agingredefined #aginginreverse #agingstrong #aginggoals #healthaging #disruptaging #lifeexpectancy #liveafulllife #dontmissout #nohands #nohandschallenge #painfree #pain #painfreeliving #rehabtraining #prehab101 #fitforlife #kneeinjuryrehab #fitnessgoals #fitnessmotivation #fitness #coachingonline #coachingtips #exerciseisthebestmedicine
