A few weeks ago, I got to speak to Claudia on her podcast. 💫 ✨ At the time, I didn't realize that our conversation would be released after my recent radio talk. I just enjoyed the opportunity to discuss some of my favorite topics. See the link in the comments. The podcast episode, titled "The Key to Flourishing as a Working Mum: Stop Feeling Overwhelmed, Guilty, and Not Good Enough," aligns closely with the themes of my radio discussion, "Work-Life Balance is BS." Both conversations emphasize the importance of not getting sidetracked by trying to "fix" external circumstances to make life manageable. As working parents and professionals, we can be certain that external challenges will arise—it's only a matter of when, how, and the level of pressure they exert on us. To truly love our lives, it's not about eliminating pressure or preventing things from going wrong. Instead, it's about how we manage our "internal housework" to remain present and embrace the challenges before us, whatever they may be. I've often shared that one of my key strategies for maintaining this internal balance is by safeguarding my regular time to recharge my battery—my "me time"—whether by being creative or moving my body. If that sounds like something you want to make a regular part of your life, join me NEXT WEEK in my 3 Day Challenge to carve out guilt-free “me time”. I’ll be there to talk you through the why, how and what and I’ll be there for questions too! 🔗 Message me for the link, or find it in my bio. 🔗 #worklifebalance #workingparent #balanceisbeige #metime #batteryrecharge

Short-term gains at the cost of long-term health are a foolish trade-off Regularly working 80-hour weeks, sacrificing sleep and personal time for career advancements or our own businesses, is often seen as a sign of greatness, commitment, and success. But everything has a price. The price of neglecting our health is far too high, at least from my perspective. So, what about sustainable high performance? What is it, and why is it important? This is what Dr James Hewitt explains during one of my recent interviews. Here's an extract of it 👇🏼 Tell me, what do you think about sustainable high performance? Do you see yourself leaning more towards high performance or sustainable high performance in your way of living? And what do you think you should improve? Happy Sunday, Ketty P.S. watch the full episode - find it in the comments. #performance #health #wellness #success #leaders #podcast

Excited to share the highlights of my recent podcast appearance on "Grit, Grace, and Glitz" hosted by Erika Rothenberger, LEED AP, PMP. We dove deep into discussing the significance of productivity, overcoming burnout, and finding success. Here are the key takeaways from our conversation: 1️⃣ Give Yourself Permission: It's essential to give yourself the permission to put yourself first and set boundaries. Whether it's saying "no" when needed or making time for personal development, remember that your health and well-being are paramount. 2️⃣ Realistic Time Management: Understanding the capacity and energy commitments while balancing various responsibilities is crucial. Recognizing the season of life you're in and being realistic about what you can take on is instrumental in managing your time effectively. 3️⃣ Go for It and Embrace the "What Ifs": Don't let the fear of the unknown hold you back. Consider the worst-case scenario of a decision and often you'll realize that it's not as daunting as it seems. Embrace the "what ifs," as not taking a chance can leave you with a sense of curiosity and regret. Listen to the full conversation here: https://lnkd.in/gu6nAtw4 I'd love to hear your thoughts on these takeaways! And don't forget to catch the full episode for more valuable insights. Thank you for your ongoing support! #Productivity #OvercomingBurnout #SuccessMindset #GritGraceGlitz

What is you could identify your purpose simply, and define it in 7 words or less? I'm very excited to share episode 238 of the Wellness Puzzle Podcast, ‘Seven words or less' I speak with author, speaker, and co-founder & chief purpose officer of PurposeU, Ian Chamandy. He is also an author, speaker and coach, as well as a contributor to a nationally broadcast TV station. Does your boss make you feel like... 👉 You're walking on eggshells? 👉 You're being micromanaged? 👉 You're stupid or incompetent? 👉 You can't take a breath without scrutiny? Do you spend your evenings venting about why your boss is so bad at managing, or weekends planning what to do if you’re managed out or made redundant? If you have a bad boss, it’s absolutely possible that they’re contributing to your physical symptoms. While it's easier to assume your pain comes from what you’ve seen on MRI scans, I challenge you to think differently. For the next few weeks, notice how your symptoms change based on how safe you feel with your boss. Your body might be telling you more than you realize. This is the third time I’ve joined Eddy Lindenstein for The Mind and Fitness podcast, and this time we dived deep into the corporate world, talking all about ‘Bad Bosses’ 😜 Link to the episode in the comments 👇 What do you think? Is there a link between bad bosses and physical pain? #Leadership #CorporateStress #ChronicPain #WorkplaceWellbeing
