Real strength isn't enduring through and taking everything on solo. Real strength is opening up and asking for help. Men are far less likely than women to share their emotions, even with close friends or family. It’s not because we don’t feel, it’s because we’ve been conditioned not to. For many of us, bottling things up and powering through is just how we operate. But staying silent only makes the weight heavier. The truth? Talking doesn’t make you weak; it makes you human. Personally, it took me far too long to learn this, and it’s still not easy. Sharing something small, like a frustrating day at work or a personal challenge, can create a ripple effect. It opens the door for others to talk too and builds trust & connection. This Movember, I’m committed to talking more.
