Do you know how many years modern bridges are designed to use? In recent years, the lifespan of newly constructed bridges has significantly increased due to advancements in engineering technology and materials. Modern bridges are now designed to last up to 100 years, a testament to the progress we've made in this field. Contrastingly, the bridge dismantled in videos often reflect the limitations of past construction techniques and materials, which prevented them from enduring as long. Hopefully that even 100 years from now, their descendants will still be able to use the bridge that is being rebuilt. With current innovations, we can confidently anticipate that the bridges we build today will stand strong and serve their purpose for a century beyond. However, I do not recommend demolition methods that do not consider the environment. #bridge #construction #civil #engineering #design #environment
