Anyone who thinks it's easy to land an S/BDR job -- you're completely wrong. 24 hours after posting that Mosaic.tech is hiring for a BDR role, we had: - 226 Applications - 167 LinkedIn Connection Requests - 105 LI Messages - 8 Cold Emails - 5 Intros (from respected sales dev leaders) - 3 LI Voice Notes - 2 LI Chat Looms - 1 Phone Call + VM + Text (all the same person) Just looking at these numbers alone, that gives you a 0.5% chance at landing the role... The good thing is, if you can land the role, you should be successful in seat. BDR roles are one of the most difficult roles to fill in sales, but why?? Selling here isn’t just about closing deals—it’s about understanding the complexities of the industry and helping insurers adopt the right solutions at the right time. To do that, we need people who don’t just sell but know how to navigate long sales cycles, ask the right questions, and move deals forward. I’m hiring an Account Executive who can do exactly that. This isn’t just about closing deals—it’s about owning the process, experimenting with different approaches, and working directly with leadership to drive results.
