🎙️ Exciting News! The latest episode of the #MakeEachClickCount podcast is NOW LIVE! 🚀 In Episode 205, I had the pleasure of interviewing the multifaceted Bob King - an accomplished author, closing coach, filmmaker, and sales superstar. Bob's journey from an overlooked novice to a master closer is nothing short of inspiring. 💡 Here are 3 key takeaways from our conversation: - **Belief is Crucial:** Whether you're building rapport during a sales pitch or communicating your offer online, genuine belief in the value of your product or service is essential. If you don't believe in it, your potential customers won't either. - **Empathy as a Superpower:** Tactical empathy, or simply caring about the person you’re trying to serve, can create the trust they need to say 'yes.' Bob emphasizes that genuine attention to your customer’s wants and needs can make all the difference. - **Sales Skills Are Learnable:** Bob dispels the myth that great salespeople are born, not made. With the right mindset, training, and commitment, anyone can transform from a salesperson into a closer who can earn trust and close deals. 📚 Make sure to check out Bob King's latest book, "The Joy of Closing: The Definite Guide to Building Trust, Getting the Deal, and Creating Happy Customers," available now on Amazon. 👉 Listen to Episode 205 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gcZVcwGU #Sales #Marketing #Podcast #Ecommerce #CustomerTrust #ClosingTheDeal #JoyOfClosing #MakeEachClickCount #SalesTraining #BobKing

WEDNESDAY The Closers Inner Circle Podcast with Ben Gay III and Denise Griffitts #YourPartnerInSuccessRadio No matter what sales terminology a business uses - cancelled orders, abandoned carts, or something else entirely - the end result is the same: lost revenue. Every cancelled transaction represents a prospective customer who was interested enough to initiate a purchase but failed to complete it for one reason or another. These missed opportunities can quickly add up, hindering a company's growth and profitability. Minimizing cancelled orders should be a key priority for any business seeking to maximize sales and boost their bottom line. Identifying the root causes through customer feedback, then implementing strategies to remove friction from the buying process, can help recapture a significant portion of that lost income potential. If you are not yet familiar with The Closers Part 2 by Ben Gay III - the book delves into the nuanced, sophisticated techniques and mindset strategies used by the top "master closers" in the sales profession. The Closers Pts 1 and 2 are widely recognized as THE Sales Bibles. Opening the book to this chapter 'And Another Thing,' we journey to page 249, specifically to the segment titled ‘Cut Cancellations’. Last week we covered ‘Sell From The Audience' and we invite you to revisit our previous conversations - all 9 of them - to follow along as we delve into the rest of the chapter. Just finished listening to The Brutal Truth About Sales and Selling podcast’s episode “What Great Selling Looks Like in the Real World”, a 30 minute overview of the overlaps between sales and personal life. There are many key takeaways from this episode that I wanted to share with my network! First, the importance of being proactive in sales. It’s easy to rely on your company’s sales system, but it’s crucial to create your own approach that fits your style. Sales is about figuring out why deals aren’t closing and taking ownership of that. Another key point: Keep your pitch simple. Don’t get caught up in a long list of features and benefits. Focus on understanding what the client truly needs, and tailor your message accordingly. The podcast also emphasized patience and resilience – qualities that aren’t just important in sales, but in life. Top salespeople don’t expect overnight success; they build relationships and trust over time, and that’s how they succeed. For me, the big takeaway was the idea of thinking more like the client and less like a salesperson. Going forward, I’m focused on simplifying my approach and prioritizing long-term relationship-building over closing quick deals. Excited to implement this mindset into my future career. I hope by sharing this podcast, someone else can gain insights and shift their mindset to stay motivated. #Sales #TheBrutalTruthAboutSalesandSelling #ProfessionalDevelopment #SalesPodcast
