After observing various jobs, I’ve identified key behaviors that enable entry-level professionals to stand out and achieve outstanding success, which I would like to share: 1. They always arrive early, demonstrating their commitment. 2. Their actions reflect their core values, establishing trust among colleagues and managers. 3. They welcome constructive criticism because it leads them to unlimited growth. 4. They adapt to change and overcome any type of challenge. However, there is one aspect that seems to be the most challenging at any level for a company: regardless of one’s role or title, there is an unusual and unique strategic ability to collaborate with individuals who hold diverse opinions and come from various backgrounds. Sometimes we have to slow things down so we can speed them up. I get it, deadlines are everywhere. You want to set a great example and be at your best. But… How would you actually define being at your best? For some of my clients it means having mental space to concentrate, more energy for collaborating, and more connection for building relationships. So what’s getting in the way of that? Let me guess: you’re not making time for those things when you’re bouncing from one thing to the next. So let me ask you something: How would you feel if you had the time for those things? I heard it from many senior leaders. They tell me they’d feel valued and valuable. So what could you accomplish if you felt valued? Would you take things to the next level: your team, your career, the product you work on? It sounds simple but, a lot of times, simple is the most difficult thing to do. I have a term “get in where you fit in” When you are searching for a job focus on who’s on the hiring managers team. What your eyes see believe it. What you see is a reflection of what that manager values. When you can easily identify patterns based on the things you can’t control Age, Gender, Race, you are empowered to act accordingly. Don’t be mad or waste your energy on the things you can’t control. Be grateful you are not wasting your time where you are not valued. Find your people and get in where you fit in.

It’s okay to say no. It’s okay to say no. It’s okay to say no. In a world that celebrates hard work and hustle, it’s easy to feel like we need to say "yes" to every opportunity. But sometimes, saying "no" is the only way to truly say "yes" to something better. This isn't about limiting initiative or ambition. It’s about focus and alignment.
